What do you expect the teacher to do? Turn their gun on a child? Prevention is ALWAYS better than treatment. The child should NEVER had access to a firearm. The parents of that child are irresponsible gun owners and should never have allowed their children to even now about the firearm.
Arming teachers especially in this situation is entirely inappropriate.

The house secretary does not have the full powers of the speaker assignment.
