Under the Golden Gate Bridge is some of the roughest water and tides and is called the cabbage patch. The wave s are not in a regular pattern. Don’t eat breakfast before you go under the bridge because it will come right back up. We went through on an 80 foot steel fishing charter to the Farallon Islands and we bounced around like a dinghy. It’s no place for a boat under 25 feet and inexperienced operators, btw full of sharks,,,,,, just saying
