Something we don't do too often and as you know we normally target canals but sometimes the simplest of methods like float fishing on a river can catch some epic fish. We love pike fishing and in this weather you really cannot beat topwater lures! Nothing is quite exciting and as scary as top water pike fishing - for me the most savage form of all lure fishing.

@@darrenbeechall7020 live bait mate. Use atleast 40-50 lbs braid. Use a paternoster float rig with a 2lb lead weight. Deadbait or live bait. Live bait your almost guaranteed to catch as long as your in the right spot. Cast in different spins with one or two rods every half an hour or so.
