This staircase can be considered endless. Every time you walk a kilometer, the ladder regenerates another similar path. This was done so that the game did not depend on the number of blocks.
But what about the specifically times messages? They are coded to fire at an exact time wether it’s your 3rd hour or 8th hour of walking. Unless the messages stop appearing for say more than hour, their could be an end
And sure it may seem infinite being that the stairs regenerate the more you climb, but you can still code it to eventually put a top to it
Or who knows, maybe this was just a trick by Preston for more player retention

Every 1 set of stairs you climb there's a 1 in 1 million chance of generating the "end" of the staircase, once u get there you get the huge angel dog 😅

If you dont have VIP, there is another way to get to the "stairway to heaven."
First, you need to step on the lava part in the Classic Obby. When you die on the lava part, press the home button before you respawn. This makes you fall off the map so that it will teleport you to the "stairway to heaven" map. I hope this helped.
You dont need vip to get there tho, i remember glitching out of the map in the part inside of the water after the beach in some mountains i think

In the jungle obby jump in the acid at the start and at the same time click home button, this glitches the game into putting you outside the map. And that triggers the stairway to heaven area. ( Do this if you don't have vip and want the achievement 🙂 )

If you don't have VIP, you can get there by completing the first obby available, finish it and jump off, and when the screen starts to turn black you run into the red laser and it will kill you. Then you teleport back to the lobby but the platform isn't there anymore, so you just fall and end up in the secret area.

To you question about building the stairs, they would have just made the stairs once and copy and pasted it

I found this yesterday and I spent 2 hours on it and the way I found it is I fell out of the map using the Canon
Procedually generated, deletes itself underneath to get rid of lag, uses fog so u cant see it generating.
There is also a way to get there in shipwreck to the right of the door that is a shortcut to fossil digsite by the anchor in a crack in case you don't have vip
Maybe you will unlock the cat hoverboard there in the future.

You can get there if you finish an obby, and then die as soon as you’re about to tp. You will fall into the void and you should end up there!
You don’t need the vip. You can glitch out of the map by having the game lag, then use cannon and spma it and sometimes very rarely it could eventually bring u to this place.

I did it a different way.
1. Stood in an area with no coins or safes.
2. Waited for them to respawn
3. Got glitched and fell to the stairway of heaven
There's an easier way to access it, you need to complete the ice obby the easy way, and after completing it, you need to quickly run and die from the falling boulder on the hard level!

I think the further you climb it loads more stairs above you which is why it looks like that and i feel it genuinely maybe infinite but there could be an end

What you can also do is go inside jungle obby then press home after u go into the obby then you will lag then fall. It might take several tries to get it right but u can get consistent

Another easier way to get there is go in i think any obby but if not any obby just the classic obby but when you die to a obstacle you click home and you will go there i found this at the beginning hope this helps😊

there is an F2P way to get to the heaven stairs, somewhere in the underwater area near an anchor is a little hole u can fall through

I only climbed for 20 minutes last night, but You can also get in If You go to the jungle game and go home when You die
There is another way which one of my friends showed me. I don’t know if it’s every mini game/area but if you die and go home at the same time in mini games you get teleported there
You need to be on the stairs for atleast 24 hrs and then if your still on the stairs will stop generating (must be past 50k studs) or the message endlessness. and then there will be a button to press at the end to open the area for the pet

You can get to that in The shipwreck area, first go to the Anchor at the stone [ NOT THE SHIP ] go there not using hover board, then u will see a blue thing right below of the anchor, go to it, TADA YOU GET TO THAT FOR FREE

Lc you can get there for free actually it’s just a rare thing you need to do(I forgot where) and when you do that well you get the archívement although you can glitch out so that there isn’t any stairway

if you go to 5th island and go in obby then fall off about 5 times then click home you will be teleported there. Hope this helps for non-VIP players tho its useless

There's an easy f2p way to get to the stairs. Go into the classic obby, die to whatever (except falling down) and before you respawn click the home button.
