    Great review of North San Diego, Nick! I have lived in different cities past 20 years, all in North San Diego--From Escondido to the San Elijo hills community to Carlsbad to Del Mar and finally landed in Carmel Mountain. Still found your review informative and helpful 🙂 I did want to point out though that there is a TON of construction going up along highway 56. Going to be on the pricier end but beautiful homes and fabulous area for families

      I've lived around northern San Diego County for all but one year of my life, and Carmel Mountain (Rancho Peñasquitos) was probably my favorite.

    Great review of North county, definitely has grown a lot! Surprised you didn’t talk about the sprinter, going directly from Escondido up to Oceanside!

      @lifeinsandiego  Před 10 měsíci +2

      Sadly it seems no one utilizes the sprinter, but it is a gem I should of mentioned. The coaster is the real winner 💪

      @@lifeinsandiego My mom lives in Escondido but works in Oceanside. She has epic freeway anxiety, so the Sprinter is how she's able to function and get to work. I'm glad it's there. It's how I got from Esco to CSUSM in my years there.

    Hey there! I'm looking into moving there eventually in the future however I was wondering what the weather is like in the winter? Is there snow ? Heavy rain?

    • @lifeinsandiego
      @lifeinsandiego  Před 10 měsíci +2

      Hi! Winters are pretty mild. No snow unless you head 45 min - 1 hr East into the mountains. In a typical year not much rain either although 2023 we had the most rain we’ve had in ages.

      @lifeinsandiego So the perfect weather I see! Thank you so much for replying. I live in the mid valley 1hr away from fresno and I've been looking for a new place to live

      @@AhsokaTano101 Late response, but San Diego has been voted the best weather in the WORLD for years. It gets a bit harsher the more inland you go (Escondido, Poway, El Cajon, etc.), but really, hardly any rain, VERY sunny Summers, and worst you get, on an average day in January, is partly cloudy skies.

    There's a north SD town I heard about called La Jolla that has beaches and seals. Ever hear of it?

    Why are many homes put in trust in places like Encinitas?

    • @lifeinsandiego
      @lifeinsandiego  Před 2 měsíci +1

      I’ve noticed in the wealthier neighborhoods most properties are held in trusts which basically just leads to more protection over your assets such as a home
