me: Her English name is Melody, recently she calls herself Cinderella. But I usually call her "Garbage" as her nickname.
After that we had 20 minutes literally talking about her, "Garbage." Now every members in my host family call her "Garbage!"

Yeah. At my school ( in America) we use the desks that they have in Turkey and some kids would always break them( the desk part where you write on )

ah as a transfer student ? I've always wanted try going to school in Taiwan cause my parents are from there and I loved going to Taiwan for summer vacation lol
I moved to Taiwan when I was around 11 and went to school there for about 3 years, my chinese sucked so my grades were always very low, most stressful 3 years of my life lmao
try getting into some international school in Taiwan. Taiwan public school is no joke-I recently got kicked out of a Taiwan high school due to my poor writing in Chinese. I studied English my whole life and spoke many different languages like Chinese, English, German as my parents migrate in different parts of the globe. I'm able to speak well Chinese but I swear it is going to be different and you won't enjoy learning in the school. so uhm good luck and jiayou

It’s actually really similar how we study in Korea too! We often watch many k-pop idols music videos by our school computer in lunch time. We also have school uniform but lots of my friends just wear it when they come to school and just change to casual cloths😂 Subscriber from South Korea!

Anyway I can’t go back then (which is quiet happy to me🤣) cuz I just graduated senior last week! In Korea, school starts in March and ends in February!

my best friend is from Taipei and he always says that he doesn't miss going to school there and I finally understand why!!! you guys have so much homework even more than us Italians and I really did not expect that. at least he has a crazy work ethic now and wastes very little time while I am super lazy and it takes me hours to finish 30 minutes of homework!

oh dont forget 6:30 pm is just at school, dont forget the after school study programs, sometimes parents even force kids to go to the study programs during the weekends. Or maybe to learn a special talent like playing instruments. I know this because I was a student there, but when middle school came I went to the u.s. and let me tell ya life here is amazing

We learn something kinda like "the ancient Chinese" which we never use now lol. Sometimes the teachers also talk about the structure of complex modern writings written by authors who use big words and weird grammar. Tbh, I don't think learning these things will make any use in my future life...
It’s just like what they would teach you in an English class, grammar, writing and reading stuff!

I was a former student there, and we had to learn english as our second language(our only option). I got better at english cause i watch youtube and other social media in english and i also have american citizenship but thats besides the point xD.

My school time was like 9:30 am to 4:00 pm.
my school time when i was in taiwan (i live in the us now) was 7:30 am to 8:00 pm and i was in elementary school, i go home at 8 because of the after school study programs but im lucky because i didnt have to go to the study programs during weekends
My school time was like 6:30 am to 3:00 pm

Does Taiwan celebrate Christmas?
Christmas is not a formal holiday in Taiwan, but young people like us still celebrate it. We usually exchange gifts and write cards to our friends. Lots of merchants would give promotions at that time.

Yes...Earth science and geography are completely different. We refer Earth to Nature/ Science class. And refer geography to sociology/social class
😂Uh....we have two subjects
One is Geography 地理
Another is Geography Science 地科
,but I will call the second one Earth Science, as 地科 is a abbreviation of 地球科學
Earth science is a science class about structures of earth and biology
