To me, she is a hero. She took the steps to inform the American people of the truth. Courage personified.

Sydney Sweeney is a PHENOMENAL actress. As someone who followed her career prior to Euphoria, she’s honestly never disappointed me. I wouldn’t be able to overlook everything in the media about her if she wasn’t. I hope people can look past the messiness to learn something new about the person who inspired this film as well.
Reality is a hero and that sentence was unnecessarily harsh and punitive.

Sydney Sweeney did amazing, as always. She really is good at diving into different characters and then becoming them. Amazing actress. I cant wait to see what she does next.
What’s another very telling thing about the motivations behind her sentence is the undeniable fact that women get lighter sentences and yet she didn’t, she got the hardest. That’s a very clear message to women about how important secrets are to the ruling class. The ruling class simply doesn’t want us to know what’s happening because we wouldn’t like it.
Or maybe she got a harsh sentence because her boss trusted her and she betrayed that trust. 🤔

0:39 correction.. Dari, Farsi and Pashto are not Arabic languages, they are languages of the Persians and Afghanis. Arabic is one language and no other language is similar to it and it is spoken by the Arabs of the middle east. Dont confuse Arabs with Persians. 😊

Man. I had never heard of her. A quick read of some articles and a peek on her twitter tells me that basically she is a progressive young woman, conscious of todays wrongs in the world and tries to be a good person. Real 'justice' done, USA.

I don’t think any of the people applauding her would do that if she was a conservative leaking documents about liberal politicians. So really it’s not about bravery, heroism, or honesty, it’s just about taking a political side.
@@pete6705 I'm not claiming she should't be punished in some way, however being sentenced to 5 years for literally one page I think is really really really excessive and in my opinion just plain wrong. Not taking political sides here, just an foreign observer.

You are right. But it is also not a bid deal to look them up. It's Farsi (spoken in Iran) Dari and Pashu (spoken in Afghanistan). They all belong to the Iranian language branch like Kurdish and Balochi. They belong to the Indo-European language family. That means they are closer to English or Hindi then Arabic.
One.of the best performances I've ever seen, truly.
The filming from the empty room creates a tension that constantly increases, as the main character realizes that her life will change dramatically. And the close-up shots of the main character 's face, his eyes that betray anxiety and fear, corroborated with the changes in the looks of the two FBI agents, such as: "ah, we caught you with something", increase the oppression even more.

Pashto and Persian aren't Arabic languages , they re Persian language an Indo-European language family, not Arabic at all! it's like German language and japanese...so weird hearing that from the writer director producer had to replay that twice!!!!

Awesome show, definitely one of those shows where you think you can’t watch al throughout but oh look at the time I watched all of it. Sure she violated laws, but she didn’t hurt any human. But on another note, that fbi agent was fine AF! Sorry not sorry.
