She keep talking how she want to be a hokage and boruto want to protect be shadow kage . But if momoshiki ends possessing boruto killing sarada I can see him being conflicted u know the usual kishi formula spam flashback . Because what death is there really himiwari built to play a vital role because of the genes that can legit contribute hinata got sent away with naruto no other death would be as impactful and this gives them room to push sauske again redemption and get artificial arm and power up to avenge his daughter leads to him being conflicted because boruto was his student but no longer human . And I don’t have boruto being the permeant villan he gain back control sometime during the timeskip momoshiki ard confirmed something happen where boruto complety gives in we just don’t know what it is

I think it's a beautiful parallel to shippuden because if Sarada is unaffected by Eida, it gives Sarada the opportunity to truly follow in the footsteps of her idol Naruto, by saving her friend despite everyone's perception of him, just like how naruto plead to the raikage. Maybe her resolve can open someone like sasukes eyes to what's going on, ringing true what Sasuke said to Naruto, that the heart of a shinobi never changes despite the era.

So demonstrating that no matter how fantastical the adversaries become, the heart of a shinobi, who is willing to endure and use the strengh in numbers, will always outweigh the seemingly insurmountable levels of power that otsosuki possess

Momoshiki's specific phrasing was that the ability to charm people wasn't a shinjutsu he had ever heard of. Then he thought it over and realised there was something that could cause it but not be the primary function or purpose of the ability.

It's kind of nice to see the deconstruction of Naruto's long held idealism... because regardless of whether Boruto can save Kawaki or not, this is, by all accounts, a failure for Naruto.

Honestly, I don't think Naruto would even be affected by Eida anyway. He's not in the same dimension, and he's not experiencing any time passing, he did not get exposed to Eida's ability. So he should not be affected

I would love to see Oruchimaru training Boruto and think it would be amazing and either way whether he's affected by Eida or not (which he probably isn't being another Oruchimaru genius ass pull) would easily convince Mitsuki to be on their side as well.

I got a theory why does borutos horn not look like momoshikis because kawakis looks like ishikis borutos doesnt match at all momoshikis horns came out of the head not the front his horn honeatly looks like shibai the otsosuki god. We know the divine tree takes dna from the planet and whose skeleton had been here since before kaguya shibai and the tree qas already here when she got here so she ate the fruit so she ahould have his dna and she had 2 sons which are both hinata and naruto ancestors naruto got hoguromos chakra and hinata got the other brothers when she was on the moon in naruto the last so their kids would essentialy have kaguyas dna which qould have shibais which would explain why boruto has his horn

I think he will train with koji lik Naruto did with jariya.
There's a slim chance Boruto might train with Toneri. Boruto can create portals with his Kāma and Toneri has reached out to him in his dream. The story might progress into him finding information on Toneri and his location on Moon, traveling there, using his Kāma to unfreeze Toneri (might be able to do so), and training with him. To master his Jougan and Kāma, he would need help from an Ōtsutsuki who's not trying to take over his body. Also, if everyone is affected by Eida's ability on Earth and is hunting down Boruto, the Moon will be a perfect safe haven for him. He can also elude Eida's Senrigan as she will not be able to find him anywhere on the planet (given she doesn't come up with the idea of searching the Moon).

This is my theory as well, we’re drawing a lot of parallels here. He trains either Boruto or Sarada, since Sarada is the one who seems to be mirroring Naruto; Boruto makes more sense though because 1) Sarada likely doesn’t have enough chakra for sage mode and 2) Sage Boruto vs Sage Mitsuki must happen

I have something I seen in the chapter that should be paid attention to. In the chapter it’s said people remember each other by chakra. This could be the reason Sarada is not effected. She doesn’t remember boruto by Chakra. I don’t believe Sasuke effected by this either. His look in the panel gives it away

If that is the case, then why was Mitsuki warped by it? We have seen multiple times that he would throw away his life for Boruto without any hesitating. I'm not saying Mitsuki wants to date or screw Boruto, but he clearly loves him deeply.

I think Momoshiki's right in saying Eida's powers aren't shinjustsu...I think the shinjustsu power Eida has is to make one's desire a reality.... And since it is her desire to be loved.... It is manifested as enchantment. And since Kawaki wanted to protect Naruto, and not worry about killing the Hokage's son... We have the switcheroo over there between Boruto and Kawaki.

Yep. Just read and saw the chapter spoilers and panels translated to english. Eida’s ability is the “Creation of All Things” justu. The same one that the SO6P used. Though, Momoshiki gives it a diff name he says it what Hagoromo used. Also it sounds like u read them as well but i apologize if u didn’t

I hope all of this means Sarada is going to actually be more relevant and powerful. Like maybe Boruto’s team and whoever it includes are going to be the equivalent of the Akatsuki but actually putting the world to right. Orochimaru being possibly a parallel works for that too.

My theory is that Sauske wasn’t actually affected by the charm but knows he isn’t strong enough to take them on alone so is playing along. Aida admits that Otsotsuki’s rnt affected by her charm and Naruto and Sauske were both given Otsotsuki chakra which would explain y sarada wasn’t affected because outside of Sakura both families have otsotsuki DNA.

I think there is foreshadowing that Boruto is going to ally with code to some degree, the Foreshadowing being that in the fight against code it seemed like code kind of was mentoring Boruto in a weird way, this could be the foreshadow that code is the only one who can help Boruto Train using his new karma.
In the anime toneri told Boruto his jougan will be the star of hope that saves him so I think it’s possible for the jougan to reverse what happened to him and kawaki

My question is if the idea of Eida’s ability is that everyone thinks Boruto killed Naruto, if Naruto was for some reason released from the Daikukoten dimension and affected by this new ability, what would Naruto be thinking? Would he actually think that Boruto killed him even tho he’s alive?
My understanding from reading the chapter is that Eida simply made everyone think Kawaki is Naruto’s loyal son and Boruto is a traitorous outsider. Someone from Konoha reaches out to Eida AFTER she does all that, to check if she’s alright; at that point Kawaki tells her to reply that Boruto killed Naruto. So this is not the shinjutsu, just a lie that followed it.

I actually thought it was gonna be Kashin Koji as a mentor to Boruto for the time skip. Someone who Boruto can trust and someone who might not have been affected. He escaped and went to the Mt myoboku so maybe him being there or being a cyborg means he isn’t brainwashed and will train Boruto, just like Jiraiya with Naruto

I think we forgetting about someone that could be very important in this timeskip. Kashin Koji, he sort of survived in the battle with Jigen, he could actually help train up Boruto or something, since Boruto will now be on the run he would eventually run into Koji somewhere...
This is actually wild. It mirror Naruto’s training with Jiraiya over the time slip. But at the same time something about linking with Orochimaru just seems right.
I think you could make Sarada a key player in this situation by figuring out how to reverse basically a God Tier Kotomatsukami. Ada’s jutsu is very similar to genjutsu. Sarada being resistant/figuring out how to undo said jutsu would make her important as a character in a way that could not be minimized. And it would be in line with the Uchiha lineage with having the eye of deception/perception. Plus, It would do so much for Naruto Lore.
Thinking of people who are unaffected, I wonder if people who are immune to Genjutsu, like Sakura, or people who can kick themselves out of it, like Karin, are also immune to this. Could be if they’re going to help train Boruto and Sarada.
Also wonder if people who met Boruto but never saw him as Naruto’s son, like Ouga, will simply not care about the switch and still feel the same way about him. Could lead to some interesting allies and teamups

It might have to be romantic love to overcome Eida's ability, so Naruto's family and friends would be affected other than the girls who have romantic love for him. Though there's also the chance that asexual, aromantic, or otherwise apathetic to their very soul for others persons may be unaffected to due to their inability to feel emotions. Assuming this whole thing is emotion based to some degree

Apathetic is not really on the scale anyone can be apathetic, but that does not mean they feel no emotions just that they do not feel strongly or care strongly about a specific thing. An apathetic person you dangle over a volcano is likely to still be apathetic about a girl or guy liking them but very much not apathetic about dying.

So they just had the Kaguya switch come in and have a special sealing out of no where to end it.
I don’t think that Boruto would end up training or even allying with Code, even if Code thought he was Kawaki he would still be upset that he didn’t get to have his revenge against Naruto, but Orochimaru I can totally see, he’s got knowledge on pretty much everything, he would be the one to either know about the Jogan or be able to get information about it and help Boruto learn how to use it

I think that Momoshiki has a secret hatred of other otsutski. He wants all chakra fruit for himself, and he knows that other otsutski pose a threat to him getting as much chakra fruit as possible. Momoshikis goal is to become a god like Shibai. So what I think is that Momo knew using foresight that kawaki and Eida would do this. Momo caused this because he knows that boruto, to get stronger and eliminate them, would have to train on his own to master Momo’s powers. He allowed this to happen to force borutos hand into training and getting stronger WITH Momo, instead of trading to tame him.
My money is on Kashin Koji being the person he trains with. Like a distorted Naruto time skip with his "Jiraiya"
I wonder if Boruto now has a bunch of memories of being tortured and abused by Kara for six years rather than being raised in a happy family in Konoha. I wonder if there will be a bizarre overlap between Kawaki and Boruto’s memories. Regardless, losing everything and everyone is enough to turn him into the extremely sad Boruto we see in the timeskip.
I also don’t think any of this is Momoshiki’s plan. He’s nothing more than an unwilling prisoner inside of Boruto’s body. But Momoshiki and Boruto’s personalities might bleed together more now that Boruto’s morale is totally shattered. So I guess he needs to resolve that, and then make allies (like possibly Code and Kashin Koji and “bad guys” since those are the only people who might respect him), and then eventually returning to Konoha. And then fight God I guess. Damn.
Also I don’t think Sumire is immune. I think Kawaki has replaced Boruto in her memories. And if not, I think she’ll fall for him from her own free will. She has invested too much in Kawaki to stop now. She already felt something for Kawaki to lie to Naruto to cover up for his “mistakes” (such as repeated murder attempts on Boruto.)
Let me repeat that. Sumire lied to Naruto. To protect Kawaki. She tried to stop Sarada from going after Kawaki. She spied on Amado for Kawaki. Now I feel like she’ll target Eida for Kawaki, especially if Eida has evil intentions for Konoha (I don’t actually think Eida is in love. I think it’s a cover-up. Kawaki might be just a puppet to her and Amado.)
I also think Kawaki’s purple scarf is from Sumire. It’s impossible it’s from Hinata. She’s trapped in another dimension. Himawari doesn’t use purple colours.
I also think Boruto will give his bolt necklace to Sarada before he leaves. He isn’t wearing it in the timeskip.
I do agree Code is a potential ally for Boruto. As well as “villains”, since they see Boruto as one of them. As well as Sarada, maybe Mitsuki but he’ll need some de-programmed from that Eida brainwash first.
Anyways, here are the theories I got correct:
1. Boruto faking his death or having a cop-out death.
2. Delta being Amado’s daughter.
3. Kawaki stealing Boruto’s life.
4. Boruto being rogue or exiled.
Next predictions is similar to yours;
1.) BoruSara.
2.) Naruto survives.
3.) Kawaki dies or ends up with Sumire.
4.) Sasuke “dies” (but it’s just click bait and he lives. Lol. I don’t think they’ll be able to resist that.)
4.) They kill the Otsutsuki God and potentially Eida as well for being the entire reason the story gets messed up in the first place.
5.) I also have a feeling Mitsuki will die.

For the village destroyed, I'm thinking that Kawaki, in his infinite wisdom, will start a new Shinobi World War with the other villages.
If he can use Eida to make everybody fall in love with her, it's not a stretch that he's going to control the next Hokage from the shadows, whoever that person may be. Or perhaps, there will be a set of people who don't fall for Eida and another set who do and therefore, a Konoha civil war might start?
Yeah, but if it’s a Civil War, the sides would be uneven because you got Kawaki, Ada and Damon Damon might turn though I’m not sure about that, so I’m not sure how the village would get destroyed. What kind of Civil War would be that strong it would just be a whip, so I don’t see how that destroys it

But in a world where Boruto can make planet-sized Rasengan, I think a city like Konoha could be destroyed fast. If both Boruto and Kawaki learn more of devastating attacks from their respective Otsutsukis, it could all just be a matter of a one-on-one like Naruto and Sasuke in the Valley of the End (the pre timeskip Rasengan v. Chidori)
Deidara, one shinobi, destroyed a good chunk of the Sand in one attack.
And in my theory, we still have to see which Shinobi are on each sides.

Honestly in shonen sometimes there is this character that admires in a very weird way the main character. This seems to happen only in Japanese culture. I believe this is what happens with Mitsuki. He loves him in a very idealized way, very Japanese specific. I don't know how to explain it. It is love but not romantic.
I think it has more to do with having a dojutsu.

Well, their physical forms do manifest with actual bodies, hence how the gold and silver brothers could eat some of Kurama's stomach or whatever, so theoretically this makes sense, but the tailed beasts chakra would probably just reform a new body. Do it til the beasts run out of chakra to use to reform and then you have an interesting question. Would their chakra reform in nature until they could make a body again or would they be totally dead and gone
I’m gonna guess that he’s either going to train with kakashi( since kishimoto said he had something big planned for kakashi and that’s why we haven’t seen him yet) or Kashin Koji. I believe Koji has been at mnt. Myobuko and since he’s wasn’t on earth wasn’t effected by the charm of eida. He wants to get back a Amado for using him and has gained more of jiraya’s memories.

Really love this twist, hope it keeps this level of intensity and takes more risks as time goes on. I do hope only a very small amount of people remember like 3 max. Himawari training to avenge Naruto would also be very interesting.
For what i can say is that 2 prophecies has been finished the garaga's bitrayal which is done by kawaki and momoshiki's about the blue eyes where from now on boruto has lost everything and now kawaki or someone might kill boruto for 2nd time and he might meet Shibai which would mean that he would be granted Jougan and toneri's prophecy would start and there might be a boruto vs sasuke in ch80 and next is gonna be kawaki vs boruto where kawaki might kill boruto for 2nd time

Also I think Code may have escaped the wave, it was shown visibly to effect everywhere on Earth, yet last we seen was Code hiding in the 10 tails dimension.
Either Code would think to try and make Boruto easy pickings for the 10 tails chakra fruit, or maybe he's still feeling slighted from Eida and Kawaki that he'd offer to help Boruto in some way while still furthering his own agenda some how.
I wonder if the toads of Mount Myoboku were affected. I know chapter 1 didn’t show Boruto enter sage mode but it would be interesting if he was able to train with them. Also, people who know about the toads would wonder why they would be willing to train “Naruto’s killer” and get suspicious.

Small prediction
After all the time skip things have been done and when Naruto is either purposefully or accidentally released he would not remember boruto as his son but would still treat both kawaki and boruto the same which will make kawaki realise that he didn't need to be Narutos blood son and maybe bring him back to the boruto side

my theory on how it all plays out will be something like this;
- Sasuke finds out Boruto is actually not the outsider, but Kawaki is.
- Sasuke will confront Kawaki about it, obviously making him mad because he wants no one to know
- Kawaki will eventually kill Sasuke because he is so scared about losing everyone AGAIN (also in correlation with Borutos last future-sight vision thingie where he saw Kawaki hurting someone)
- This results in Sarada finally receiving her Mangekyo Sharingan + Boruto will end up with Sasuke's cloak, sword and headband.
It wouldn’t make sense for it to be “Loving” a otsutsuki with “Familiar Love” included, like family bond love. It would only make sense for it to be a Romantic Love to another Otsutsuki would negate Eida’s ability. That would also explain why Codes love & obsession for Isshiki doesn’t count, & also explain why Sasuke & everybody else’s love doesn’t count for Boruto’s love.
Momshiki wasn’t lying during that earlier conversation. Ada DOES NOT have a charm ability. She had the ability of omnipotence. The reason she charmed everyone is because deep down she wants everyone to love her so her ability Manifests as a “charm” ability. If she didn’t want everyone to love her, the never would have loved and followed her.

What if you also need to be capable of shinjutus in order to be immune to Aida’s abitlities? Sarada Eyes potentially could evolve to that point, sumires weird Otsotsuki mark/Nuwe and whatever Himas hidden power is? Maybe Shinjustu can counter shinjutsu? I feel like it makes sense but I’m probably forgetting something that shuts down this entire theory
with boruto wearing sasukes cloak i can see a scene involving Boruto and Sasuke, Boruto lets Sasuke go thru his memories using his sharingan, sasuke sees the memories and says some line about how boruto literally looks like naruto but is still skeptical but looks into it. Giving him his cloak with some line about covering up the symbol on his back and some other stuff
It was explained that her real power was to grant peoples desires, so her charm ability comes from her wanting to be loved by people.
I think people who have Otsutsuki chakra won’t be affected by this. It explains why Sarada and Sumire aren’t, since the former has Hagoromo chakra from Sasuke and the latter because Nue was seen as being close to Otsutsuki abilities, and it also means that Sasuke might not be (him being against Boruto in the panel is when Momoshiki is explaining things) and Himawari might not be since she has Hagoromo and Hamura chakra from Naruto and Hinata (who also aren’t affected for several reasons).
I’m worried about Himawari. If she isn’t affected, she’ll be trapped in a village where everyone is blaming her actual brother for the deaths of her parents and forcing the actual person who sealed them away onto her as family. If she is affected I’m afraid she’ll become very hardened like Kawaki and lose what made her her. Though again, like you said they’ve been building her up too much to not be an ally.
Everyone in the world will be very confused if Kawaki ever unseals Naruto and Hinata before this is broken since they’ll see them attack their son for betraying them and going after the person the world thought was responsible then all be yelled at by the two.
Wonder if the anime will do any arcs that act like everything is good following Kawaki, like the other filler arcs with Boruto but just him in that place.
If Himawari isn't effected she's going to play along for a while. I actually see Damon and her becoming friends and Damon ending up a good guy while Eida staying loyal to Kawaki.
I think a rift is already forming between them. In this chapter when Eida went after Kawaki Damon had to yell to her not to forget him because he can't fly.
I think she stops caring so much about him and puts all her energy into Kawaki making Damon jealous and him seeking comfort from Himawari.

After all Eida didn’t even want to wake up Daemon originally, only doing so once Code suggests that Kawaki might attack her at a time he’s not there to protect her. They’ve been teasing a Himawari vs Daemon, but that could be a red herring and instead perhaps Himawari is able to turn him to their side after he’s cast aside now that Eida has what she wants.
If not, then I definitely think it’ll be Himawari vs Daemon since they suggested she’s the only one strong enough to defeat him. Similarly to how they teased it will be Sarada and Sumire vs Eida.

In reality the only time we see Sasuke is him having a reaction to Shikamaru telling everyone where Boruto is. Looking at his face he seems confused, just not verbalizing it like Sarada and Sumire do.
I think the village found out the truth about kawaki and kawaki beat everyone in the village effortlessly. Because he looks unharmed, idk. Nobody can tell where this series is going now but it's straight fireworks. 1 thing everyone can agree on though, WE WANT MORE!!!!!!!!!

I dont think Code will be impacted by Eida godly power then because he was in the different dimension where the ten tails was. So he technically wasn't on the planet when this happened. If fact this dimensional plane. Still think its probably Code who destroys the village. But something is very sussy about Eida having that kind of secret power like that similar to the wish granting hammer. Eida might be the new physical host body of Shibia.

since bourto was originally meant to be a retelling of the Naruto story, I think if Boruto goes with anyone during the time skip its going to be Kashin Koji, without a doubt. This was it mirrors Naruto's leave with Jiraiya. I know its been a while, but he was left alive for a reason and he probably knows about eida and whatever amado is up to, to some capacity. he also knows a lot about karma obviously. Besides him I can think of anyone suitable enough to take on the task of assisting boruto besides sasuke. The only peculiar thing is this... in borutos time skip look he has sasukes sword and cloak... so... something has to happen there... sasuke cant just be taken by the charm, at some point he is going to get badly hurt or something and somehow boruto leaves with him and he gets his cloak and sword. anyways I still think its kashin koji and sasuke will be involved in some way, but he will either die eventually or will be incapacitated.

11:13 about this Momoshiki did say that her charm ability isn't shinjutsu cus he never heared of it before and its true her ability to make people fall in love with her isnt a shinjutsu but her omnipotence ability to basically make your desire come true is a shinjutsu that came from shibai most likely. And Momo realised in this chapter why people fall in love with her and that its her omnipotence ability that does it cus Eidas true desire is to have a true love and that desire is being granted by her own omnipotence ability that she cant control and its making people fall in love with her. So Momo was right actually. Also its ironic that Eida herself is making others fall in love with her cus its her deep desire and her omnipotence is granting it to her without her even realising

THEORY:
Maybe this jutsu works like a genjutsu in the sense that its both psycological and can be broken. So hypothetically thats how orochimaru "breaks" or is not even affected by it and how sasuke breaks it as well and because of that attacks kawaki and telling him to reverse it and bring naruto back and dies for it. Then orochimaru trains boruto (who gets sasuke's clothes and sword) and then goes on to fight kawaki.
I agree that Sasuke must die and probably kawaki kills him. Boruto and Sarada don’t have it in them to kill Sasuke. He must somehow found a way to break out of the shinjutsu (maybe a Sarada talk no jutsu does it to ignite his love for Boruto as a son?) then I assume he attacks kawaki and before leaving entrusts his cape and sword to boruto and tells Sarada to go with boruto to orochimaru. Orochimaru has been seen to often to not be training somebody

Well I personally think that the "Time" ability. Whether it's seeing the future or stopping the flow of "Time". Are actually boruto's ability not momoshiki's.
Why?
1. Momoshiki could have used Time stop when he fought naruto and Sasuke. But didn't.
2. He could have foreseen his "death". And prevented it if he could really see the future.
3. The reason we now see these abilities are because they are boruto's arcane abilities. And he can't access these abilities. But momoshiki has access to them since he is inside boruto. Thus he is able to see the future and stop time.
4. The jogan was introduced before momoshiki possessed him. It could be the source of these abilities. If you don't believe in the jogan's canonicity, here's another reason.
5. He has both haguromo and hamura's Chakra which is kaguya's Chakra (an otsutsuki), it could give him the possibility of having access to unique Shinjutsu.
The debunk of this would be
1. Those indeed are momoshiki's abilities. And yes he did see himself losing at the hands of boruto. But he let it happen on purpose. Because he saw deeper into Boruto's fate. And one way or another this will lead him to Godhood too.
2. Momoshiki said he can't see his own future.
3. He can't see his own future but he can see boruto's future. Then how come boruto got stabbed by kawaki, sabotaging momoshiki's karmic resurrection. Why couldn't he see boruto dying in this scene??.
I think the reason why Momoshiki helped Kawaki was because he knew it would break Boruto’s spirit and Boruto would give up the will to fight so he could fully take over. Momoshiki doesn’t care if he’s the villain, he’s always been the villain. He just wants to be alive again so he can enact his plans

I believe the reason why Momoshiki wanted to free Kawaki was because he could see the future and needed Kawaki to run into Eida. All of the events needed to take place in order for Eida to grant Kawaki’s wish and have the world turn on Boruto. This would force Boruto to “lose everything” including his mental strength and eventually giving in to Momoshiki and allowing Momoshiki to willingly take over Boruto’s body (just like Momoshiki said he would)
I don’t know if anyone has commented this yet, but it’s possible the reason that Sasuke was affected by Edia’s ability was because he lost his Sharinnagan. We know that Sasuke’s eye allowed him to bypass the infinite tsukuyomi so if Edia’s ability is like a genjutsu of that caliber then he lost his immunity. Then again, Sarada wasn’t affected so I guess Edia’s ability might have conditions like what was stated in the video? What do you guys think?

Ooh, a neat parallel and to the OG story could be that during the timeskip, what if Boruto finds a way to revive Kurama? And then, explaining to Kurama what happened, he teams up with Kurama to come and stop Kawaki?
Imaging the recontextualization of that? Kawaki, now believed to be Naruto's son after Naruto's "death" is elected as the next Hokage, and begins twisting and warping the ideology of Konoha to be a menace to the world. An evil, enemy village gearing up for war against the 4 other nations. But as their preparations are nearly completion, there is a massive explosion outside the village. It's the Nine-Tailed Fox, unsealed, wreaking havoc as Shinobi try to stop it. And who should be riding atop it but the Scourge of the Hidden Leaf, the traitor who was banished and now returns to fight the Hokage, his rival; Boruto.
A parallel to Madara and the evil Naruto defeated, but who returns to SAVE the village with the help of the Tailed Beast that was used to destroy it multiple times. And once again that beast uses a Tailed Beast Bomb to decimate the village, but not to kill anyone. To flush out Kawaki so Boruto can fight him and undo his twisted plans to SAVE his parents and the Leaf Village. Man, that would be AWESOME.
Really thought of Boruto becoming a villain by maybe killing Sasuke as Momo, not like this. It's too cruel.
