  • Tamale is the capital of Ghana's Northern Region and its 3rd largest city. You can bet there's a lot of cool stuff to do here.
    All of these things are within Tamale itself. You could easily fit 2-3 of them in a single day.
    The things to do on this list aren't obvious. There aren't flashing signs or marked locations on Google Maps (with a few exceptions). Except for the Top 4, many of these are things that you need a local to help you find. My friend, and guide, Abdullah can arrange custom tours for any size group with any combination of interests.

    Tamale is a place where culture and creativity thrive. People make beautiful things, they go about life in a way that's different than what people are used to in the US, and they are quick to kindness.

    Thank you for Sharing. Tamale is my home away from home. I have never heard of Chez Mary, so I will have to check it out when I return to Tamale in a few months time. There are a few other locations I know of that serve real coffee that I have found during my time there. One of them is called Sugar and Spice, which is near king Davids. Another one near there is called Luxury. Now I can say Sugar and Spice 100% has coffee, as I was just there a short time ago, but I haven't been to Luxury since 2019, and they had since relocated small small down the road. Im not sure if coffee is still something they do but it is definitly worth checking out :)

    I loved this video. There are some places I will visit on my next trip. I did have a bit of a problem, your mispronouncing Tamale every time you said the word. It is not a Mexican dish..

    • @ThisGalTravels
      @ThisGalTravels  Před 8 měsíci +1

      I'm glad you like the video. Thank you. I know what you mean on the pronunciation. I actually was pronouncing it differently, but then I noticed that my best friend, who's from here, said it more like this. So, I adopted his pronunciation. Maybe I'll have to do a survey of local people and see how everyone pronounces it. 😀
