lmao if he was best he would be no. 1 in ranking

I don’t think that ranking has much relevance since it takes into account a whole year instead of current form, at the moment sinner would be the favorite against any other tennis player so yeah you can say he’s the best in the world at the moment

One of the most nail biting matches I’ve ever seen. Emotional. So happy for Sinner, Medvedev was absolutely unplayable those first 2 sets, what a player.. what a match.
    2 champions.

La vita è bella!! Congrats to Sinner for this EPIC VICTORY...At 22yo he already became one of most important Italian sportmen. Impossible not to love him, the public is and will be always rooting for him because he's so nice, respectful and humble, and he's so wonderful at playing tennis. in his interview all his being 100% Italian came out when he thanked his mum and dad for being so great with him... Only an Italian does that. Same as Benigni did when he won the Oscar for la vita è bella. And yes, la vita è bella... Grande Sinner 😊 A new Valentino Rossi guys 😊

Throughout the tournament there was this audio-video problem. You can check at 1:10 for example when Medvedev hits the ball, at that moment we can already hear the crowd cheering. Most probably the sound comming from the microphone of the commentators causes that.

Sinner has arrived. This is moment. He showed Pure dominance during this GS. Nole is the best player in history but all things must come to an end 😅
Time to Sinner to shine !

It wasn't Medvedev who lost , it was Sinner who won Medvedev had his lesson well studied came to clean things up in three sets as he clearly didn't want to play 5 sets , but Sinner in the third set became champion and also makes history as few Italian champions are in tennis , where Sinner practically won this was before in the game with Djokovic who practically looked like a beginner literally ironed out and Medvedev paid dearly for the marathon against Zverev. It wasn't the best tactical and amazing match but the ball speed and the long ralies made it amazing.

  • @AndreyUfa7

2 reasons why Sinner won: 1. Medvedev only had enough strength for the first 2 sets. Before the final, Medvedev played 117 games, Sinner - 60. It is Jannik's merit that he passed his rivals faster and easier, so he had more strength in the final. 2. Sinner has stronger punches from the back line, which allowed him to put a winning point in rallies. It was more difficult for Medvedev to break through the winner from the back line, he had to go to the net for this. As a result, Sinner served better in 3, 4 and 5 sets and won more rallies due to good shots, which brought him victory.
