Beautiful camera! I bought an SRT in 1975 and enjoyed it until 1995 when I dropped it on pavement doing irreparable damage 😢. Recently I found another 102 on Craig’s List and am in the process of cleaning it up (it had gone unused by the previous owner for 30 years). It’s in relatively good condition but doen’t look nearly as nice as yours. I’ve had a lot of great cameras over the years but the 102 remains my favorite of all.
Thanks for your interesting comment! It always nice to hear about peoples experiences! I agree the 102 is great and it is definitely my favorite fully mechanical camera!
Great video and really nice photos. Thanks for posting. I just ordered an SRT 102 through ebay and looking forward to its arrival.
Thanks! It's a very nice mechanical SLR, I hope you will enjoy it!
My grandpa gave me this camera over two years ago and I’ve been using it but never fully understood it,, I’ve just been trying to figure out how to use it properly,, this video saved me!!!! Thank you so much 🩵:)
additional : the SR-T 102, the SR-T 303 and the SR-T Super are exactly the same cameras.
my friend video is good
Thanks for watching!
i have an srt but i’ve never seen it used.. trying to bring it back to life, can you link where you get the batteries?
The battery that came with my camera is still working, so I never had to find a replacement. But I've noticed that it's difficult finding the right type. The important thing is that the battery is not alkaline, because then it can give a faulty reading. This one should be fine though: www.ebay.com/itm/163924163191?epid=13031301394&hash=item262aa43a77:g:SzQAAOSwtAlbroyK&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAAoDKLYbmtQVF%2FaX0zGP3f7JJOtcH278qkSfWkcE3ZQnGSEV93qLJV0SkuVzxID2wJUz2qZ1yTZV%2FmAJDApst7rYfOMjDC9uKBGJjUf0p1Wt6MGykg9d%2B%2FgcTELDw0VoO6jPZo69CXAzvRTw8D%2Fau%2BzZiDdmqMtctvbhbW%2BPIE8SZcoR%2BHO5yK4AOA0UKYigNfljswYn2SanImL0dWyWblPjg%3D%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR6jwuIqmYQ
@@mikaelrphoto thank you so very much! im taking it to a repair shop today to have it looked over as well.. it used to be my grandfathers, but it doesn’t look like he took the best of care of it 🙃
hi! you dont really need batteries to run the camera since it's only for the lightmeter (you can use a lightmeter app on your phone). however i bought a px625 battery adapter and a pr44 a675 zinc air battery and it works too! hope this helps!
How do you reset the meter to 0
The framecounter should reset when the back is opened
Thanks
