I know people that have zero children and they are late to church, heck I know people that are so late that they are about to give the benediction and the late ones are walking through the door Lmbo. When you have children (3 girls) now adults I remember the struggle trying to get ready for church and they want to take breaks to play. At least you all made it to church.
As a family we take it one Sunday at a time!

You could start having the big kids help the little kids get ready, that’s what my family used to do when I was younger. Everybody helping each other get out the door, asking mom and dad “how can I help?”, helping the little ones stay on task.

The reason you are late is a question of priorities. It is obvious that your kids and their happiness is your priority. Church is NOT a priority. Totally in agreement!

Hi Wilders! Just asking out of curiosity because I live in another country and things might be different. Do you always dress up for church? Like is it common for people to do that over there? In Brazil we usually go to church (catholic) wearing nice clothes but not necessarily well dressed like you guys. Much love to your family 🥰
We do dress up to go to church. A lot of people do but just because you go to church generally doesn’t mean that everyone dresses up. So it’s kind of a personal choice

How disrepectful of our Lord.
If the "Lord" truly knows all things and loves all "his" people, the "he" will understand if a large family arrives a little
late. Especially when they took the time to have everyone clean, polished, hair combed, and dressed nicely, which is a
sign of respect. "He" would also appreciate that the parents are teaching their children how to dress and behave
for a church service or any other event where you are expected to look your best.

As far as filming is concerned they are showing their relaxed approach to parenting which might inspire others. Some families do nothing but scream at each other and sacrifice their families rather than be seen to be late.
It's called a silk bonnet and you'd be surprised to know that white women and white children do wear silk bonnets. They especially tend to wear them when they have black female family members or friends. Silk bonnets are proven to be good for all hair types.
When I was a child my other pinned my hair into curls and then I wore a cap to hold the pins and curls in
until morning. That way I could sleep without bulky hair rollers. Now you know!
