      It iss needed in order to calculate the LOD and LOQ. Also its good to understand how the system is performing with certain compounds.

      @@gopalgirase-01 lod is limit.of detection, how low can your system detect there is something. And Loq is the limit of quatitation. Lod might be 3 times the SD of spike blanks. And loq is 3.3 times the lod
