I'm from SA too. Part black and Hispanic. Grew up on the Westside in El barrio and spent time on the Eastside too in the courts growing up. Trust me bro these bangers by Kendrick are, yes for the culture and black community, but also for all of us in the struggle and who who are going through it. The ones at the top like Drake and Diddy are not like us. Every country race and nationality is bumping this. Music is universal and transcends everything. Kendrick touching people's souls. Also not sure if youve seen but Japan is loving this stuff. They have a huge respect for hip hop in Japan and the black community and Japanese culture seem to appreciate each others very much and take inspiration often from one another. You should check it out if you haven't. They are making some fire freestyles to BBL drizzy too. It's incredible.
Greeting from the Netherlands, I’m a white lady born in the earlier 90’s. Come from a multi culti neighborhood, that’s were I discovered hiphop. Even here we vibing on Kendrick rn. At least the old skool people are. Hiphop has a way to bring people together especially by someone like Kendrick. He made me so excited again, and I’m all here for it. The last 15 years with all these upcoming new “ rappers” were miserable. We all needed this so bad. Drake especially being exposed I’ve been waiting on this for years.
