Chicago's neo-classical Senn High has one of the most diverse student bodies in the world. Newly-retired teacher Helen Murtaugh talks about some of the exciting changes underway at the school.
I love Mrs. Murtaugh... she was always so sweet to everyone... I graduated senn in 2004... I met my husband there we were both in band... yeah you can laugh... i would too... but i loved it what i experienced in those 4 years shaped me to the woman i am today... I made friends i fell in love more than once and i made mistakes and learned from them... I have fond memories of Senn...
Class of 1988 here. I hated Senn however, this woman was just plain awesome. Just a wonderful and understanding individual. Glad to have found this video.
Yes, Senn High School is a great place. I graduated 27 years ago and still get a warm feeling about the place every time I drive by. Some of you posters really ought to think about upgrading your manners some. Translation: grow up, already.
what year did you graduate? yes there were a lot of blacks when I was there, but there were still a lot of ethnic clubs, all of which were well represented on International Day.
I was graduated in 2004. If your definition of white is "Anglo - Saxon" I must say I only see a handful of them. Perhaps there are more, but since the school is so big I just don't see the rest

Senn is a GREAT school. Among it's alumni are: Harold Ramis, Harvey Korman, Clayton Moore (the Lone Ranger) and ME!

Vincentandthesserran got OWNED! The only thing I hate about Senn is that when its students pass by my house they just trow their trash on my lawn!
