- #BREAKING: Hamas has reportedly accepted a cease-fire proposal brokered by Egypt and Qatar to pause the war with Israel.
But Israeli officials reviewing the plan Monday warn that the deal approved by Hamas “is not the framework Israel proposed." Earlier on Monday, Israel warned thousands of Palestinians in Rafah to evacuate ahead imminent ground strikes.

There is no where to evacuate! The place that Israel is demanding Palestinian civilians to evacuate to (Khan Yunis) has already been destroyed by Israeli forces and has zero infrastructure to support refugees.

The entire ceasefire proposal was made to fail. Israel is not willing to accept a ceasefire if Hamas stays in power and the hostages are not released. Egypt and Qatar know this but went through with it anyway to make Israel look bad.
99% of what the Arab states have been doing is theatrical because in reality it’s not about helping the Palestinians but rather “sticking it to the Jews”.
But the ceasefire is not between Hamas with Qatar or Egypt. Hamas should accept Israeli proposal. Otherwise, their acceptance is of no consequence.
They know, its better to talk rather than fighting and destruction.
Both sides are choosing the right path to achieve their goals without killing each other. That's a smart move by both sides.

There could have been a ceasefire months ago if Hamas had laid down arms, released the hostages, and surrendered to Israeli justice for the terrorist attack.

But in this specific conflict, the terrorist attack on Oct. 7 was the trigger, Hamas the perpetrator, and they could have ended the Israeli reprisal long ago by surrendering.
