My 2nd camera after the S1 Pro. Got the S1 Pro in 2000 then picked this up when it came out on a stopover in Kuala Lumpur on my way from London to Sydney to visit my bro.

I'm a Nikon shooter but recently acquired an S5Pro - the Nikon D200's evil twin!!! Love shooting CCD!!!

I have a Fuji S5 Pro, and it opened a whole new world of great and inexpensive F mount Nikon glass for me. I really do like the colors it puts out. It wont replace my everyday X-T2, but I really do enjoy it.

I get what you mean, we have these things left bodies which spark new creative vibes for sure. I’ll never ditch my Nikon D800 ;-)

I bought a Fujifilm S-3 Pro brand new in 2005 for around $2K. Years ago the viewing screen died but the camera still works but you can only adjust whatever settings are available using the function buttons. I recently picked up a second S-3 Pro on ebay for $100 with a 28mm AF lens. I never owned a S-2 but I didn't like the fact that you needed two different battery types to run the camera. The S-3 Pro only takes 4 AA batteries. Don't know how long they'll last but for the price they sure are great to shoot with. :)

Yep. It’s not inexpensive here for sure. But 75 and sunny all year and views to die for

Mine went very weird. It had a problem with the CCD or processor and it gradually descended into complete psychedelic glitch madness. I had it repaired by Fuji UK once, just at cost as it was a known issue. The problem came back in a few months. I sold it on eBay (where it came from) and got about the same as I paid for it listed as a "glitch cam" with some really messed up images as examples.

YES ! There were so many with the CCD sensor issue , another reason they lost a bunch of money on the S2. I had the same issue with the sensor in my Minolta DSLR from back then. Lilac / purple streaks on the screen and eventually a dead sensor. The one I have now is tip top although the battery door is a little cracked

I shot with one of those for years. I have not put batteries in it for quite a while, might be worth putting on ebay instead of collecting dust.
PS. I always found that it outshot it's measly 6mp resolution.

If it is so good, why fuji stopped it?

GREAT QUESTION ! the DSLR market was so fast back then , the smart media cards sucked and the D100 was getting more love
