Your video inspired me to do the same to our Travato. The only thing I did different was to use stainless steel clamps. I picked them up off of Amazon when I ordered the resonator. Install was super easy, maybe 20 minutes. I also used a hanger that had more rubber to it and a heavier fastening point on the resonator. The sound inside and out dropped considerably. Thanks for sharing this video.
That’s 27 minutes I’ll never get back. After all that painful time watching him fumble around trying to get the bolts in, the video ends without us even being able to hear how quiet it is.
Nice video, it convinced me that I would have a muffler shop install the resonator. Another you tube video shows that the resonator cuts the noise by about half.
Like your video!can you please link all the part you using.I’m need one for my Galleria.thank you for not cutting video and working slowly for a person like me to learning.
Although the video helps make it easier to determine whether or not you want to add a resonator to your Class B Motorhome, the thing missing is the part number. You start off showing a box from Cummins but you never mention what part number is needed for the fix. Other than that good job. Agreed, alittle long but point well taken. Mr G. at Where-U-GoingRVing
Unfortunately, I didn't get those measurements. Subjectively, I think the sound is a little less "harsh" but it's not significantly quieter. I didn't expect it to be a huge improvement.

The parts are listed on my blog at www.theb.life/2017/09/resonator-install.html
Doesn't it add backpressure and might affect the generator?
no...

the part number is CUMMINS 0155-2449. At least that is the part nuber i ordered/reeived.
Is it still working good? Would you change anything?
How many decibels quieter now that you added the resonater

If you didn't expect a noticeable improvement, then why even put it on?
Daniel Southcomb Just wasted a half hour of time. Pretty cool.
WTF! Why didn't you run the generator before and after the installation? Totally a waste of time watching.
And the purpose of the video WAS ! 27 minutes waste of time and the wrestling’s with camera at the end .. did you fall ?? 😀😀
Reading the installation instructions only takes 4 minutes vs. this 27.5 minute video. Sorry. Waste of time.
