I have a WV Golf V . It's completely stupid proof. I love it
This has to be one of the easiest cars to change these bulbs on. I have just changed my reverse bulb to a LED bulb that has much better light than the standard bulb. It's also very tempting to put the same bulb in the fog light and just turn it on too when i reversing. It's no need to change the lens.

Do both bulbs use the same P21W fitting?
Yes they're both the same
How many lights to return is 1 or 2
There's just one reverse light
is one light white, and the other red?
Yes, the camera doesn't show the difference very well, but the fog light is a bright red
Can you change the fog light for a reverce light so you can have duel lights
I'm sure you could rewire it but you need your fog light too :)

ok so i hit a tree by accident and my reverse bulb went out and i replace it with new ones and still not working can anyone help me out?
The wiring or bulb holder could be damaged ?
So does only 1 light show when you reverse ?

Ja sam zamjeno obje sijalica maglenku i rikver nece se upaliti ni jedna problem ne znam gledo sam dekove cini mi se sve ok sto zasto nece da gori ne znam vise sijalica sam kupio od vise brendova u biti sve uradim kako treba a nece da gori lijep pozdrav.
