    Namaste! I deeply respect the principles of Ayurveda, which traditionally excludes non-vegetarian food. However, I've encountered unique health challenges in my life. In January 2021, I was diagnosed with third-stage tuberculosis, requiring a two-year treatment that concluded in December 2022. One of the significant side effects of this treatment was severe weight loss, and at my lowest point, I weighed only 35 kilograms. During my recovery, medical professionals strongly recommended a protein-rich diet to aid in my recuperation. Having been raised on a non-vegetarian diet, my mother ensured that I received proper nutrition to help me combat the illness.
    Throughout my treatment journey, I delved into various spiritual and holistic practices, including reading the Bhagavad Gita, exploring yoga, and studying Ayurveda. Consequently, since 2023, I've made a conscious decision to transition towards a non-vegetarian diet, albeit still including eggs, to support my goal of gaining weight. However, my ultimate aspiration is to embrace a pure vegetarian lifestyle by 2025. I firmly believe that lifestyle changes require patience and commitment, and I'm genuinely delighted to share that someone who once consumed meat daily now aspires to be a vegetarian.
    One of my proudest accomplishments in 2023 was abstaining from meat consumption for four consecutive months, despite it being regularly prepared in my household.
    It's essential to recognize that each person's journey is unique, and some individuals, like myself, may face serious and traumatic medical conditions necessitating specific dietary choices. Therefore, I kindly urge everyone to exercise empathy and refrain from making judgmental comments about others' dietary decisions, especially when unaware of their circumstances.

      Hello ma'am. Nice videos. Just a point - weight loss is caused by the disease TB itself and is also a small marker of poor/slow response to treatment....The treating drugs don't cause weight loss usually. Great to see you recovered.

      The weight loss wasn’t due to treatment. If you read your textbooks right the cardinal symptom of Tuberculosis itself is weight loss , on one side the treatment of TB has saved your life and on the other side you’re making a living saying its adverse effects. I don’t deny that medications have adverse effects and that’s true for everything on earth be it natural or artificial , that’s why drugs are formulated in specific dosages and precautions taken when administering and treating. You might get lost of likes and views when you say side effect , be it if anything

      Namaste! Every action must have some intention. For eg, in yoga, we do a forward fold with an intention of stretching the hamstrings and the calves and also elongate the spine. Likewise, the intention of drinking hot water with lemon in the morning is to relieve constipation and not to gain vitamins. I hope I was able to help you up understand this part of my routine.

    It's good that you have been in a routine, In addition to that cleansing eyes and nose there should be a key factor to observe, if the water were use to cleanse isn't pure (pure doesn't means clear water to naked eyes) there will be a chance of getting some deadly health diseases. Take precautions while practicing these.

      Namaste! For neti, one should use warm saline water which ensures safety. Def be careful for eye cleaning. And not only water, one must be careful about the vessels too. I caught an eye infection because my eye cup was not properly clean

      Riya, the oil is edible.
      Also, if you're considering oil pulling, I recommend checking your body type (prakriti) before selecting the oil. Personally, being of vata prakriti, I've opted out of using coconut oil for oil pulling and abhyanga because it's cooling in nature and not the best fit for me. Warm oils like sesame (til oil) are more suitable for vata prakriti. Nevertheless, oil pulling has truly made a positive impact on my life.

      Namaste! I have used coconut oil but upon exploring Ayurveda further, I've learned that as someone with a Vata constitution, it's advisable for me to opt for warming oils such as sesame oil rather than cooling oils like coconut oil. Coconut oil, known for its cooling properties, is more suitable for individuals with a Pitta constitution, as it aids in balancing their warmth.

      I gently suggest that you don't rely on anyone else to build a routine for you, my dear. Everyone's life, challenges, and circumstances are unique, so it's important to create a routine tailored specifically to you. It took me over six months to develop a routine that aligns with my life goals, work and family commitments, personal strengths, and concerns. Here’s what I did to build my routine:
      I clearly wrote down my goals, which helped me prioritize.
      I watched numerous CZcams videos to gather inspiration for different routines.
      I studied topics of my key interests, such as yoga and Ayurveda.
      I wrote down my routine and assigned time slots to each activity.
      Initially, I focused on completing all the activities I planned, but not necessarily at the exact times. It takes a lot of effort to get all your activities timed correctly before they become habits. For example, I used to bathe after yoga, but now I bathe before my yoga practice.
      Once I became habitual with the activities, I built a consistent routine around them.

    The only downside for this is that it’s so time consuming and it’s not rlly an option for everyone, for example, it’s hard for someone who’s not self employed.

      Yes. I completely agree to you. But you can always customise it to your timetable. A friend of mine goes to bed everyday at 10 only to wake up at 5 am and work on his lifestyle and then goes to work. It’s also hard for women who cooks at home. At my house, my mom’s wake up and goes to kitchen. So I have asked her not to cook my breakfast as i am an adult and take care of my first mean so that she can work on her health.
      In my group, alt of people say the same thing. ‘ we have to go to work hence eee cannot do this’ but they sleep at after 12 and wake up at 7am and leave house at 9am
      I asked them ‘ why don’t you sleep early so you can wake up early’- to which they replay we work the whole day, we too need some timepass activity
      So, the conclusion is
      You will make time for things that’s important to you✨
