People online are kinda delulu about distances though, always acting like someone has to be lying if they say they’re hitting 300, as if most reasonably athletic dudes under age 35 aren’t hitting it that far

I used to think my 240 yard drives were garbage. Now I see it's pretty normal for the average golfer. Especially living at sea level along the Gulf of Mexico.
Yeah I can hit it 300 yards in simulators, but let's not talk about the number of them that don't go 300. Now that said they all usually go pretty straight, so I probably average somewhere around 270. It's tough to really get everything dialed in for a 300 yard drive. I have a ton of power, but don't slow down at all on the downswing. Haven't played in a solid 15 years though so happy I'm hitting the ball even decent.
I wish I could carry 200...My longest drive after the roll last year was 249....(Senior) The last time I rolled it to 300 was 40 years ago. lol
