I would suggest using only distilled water or any water that has been filtered. I would assume that if you use tap water the solution will react with we minerals in tap water ,especially if your water has alot if rust.
I did this to my Nike air max and I realise the soap get through the cloth side and the inside of the shoes gets very soapy. Do I leave the soap to dry or will I have to rinse my entire pair of shoes under the tap now?
I used Jd crep protect spray on my black air force ones in my room yh and after 20 mins it dried and left white scratched looking stains on the whole shoe and after i clean it , it always comes back right away

I used it on my NMD R1 White, they was yellow after cleaning. I tryed to brush them over 5 times. They remained yellow. nothing brought anything.. only solution was washing machine 60 degrees i dont will ever use it!
