    I was the 5th Wridz driver to be onboarded in Austin and I love Wridz! You can’t beat consistent pricing, 100% pay, having repeat riders who can specifically request you if they want, and being able to chat with support who speak English and don’t read from a script!! It doesn’t get better than Wridz!

    I'm one of the first few to join Wridz, and this sounds like a great opportunity. They'll give you some marketing stuff like business cards, a hanging sign for the riders to scan the qr code, a lighted sign for the window, and a couple stickers for the back passenger windows. The whole process costs about $75 for the kit, drug test, and background check. Plus, I liked the fact that they're willing to meet with you, and they're willing to work with you on issues with passengers and app.

    Wridz is awesome! I started in their home city of Austin, and I have been very successful in building up customers who prefer me specifically over a random rideshare driver.

    The exploitation by Uber and lyft of the drivers will stop now. Once these smaller companies are successful, it means other cities can pass similar ordinances to help protect vulnerable gig workers.

    Good luck Wridz!! We are all pulling for the smaller apps to make it better for the drivers. I'm glad you're doing this video! Keep posting about Wridz and showing us how it works. I'm glad how you say $100 isn't too much, because you're right! That's $3/day. THREE BUCKS is nothing for people making $100k/yr, if that's what we're trying to do.

    From Wridz CEO:
    We have our application submitted, and now we wait. The Minneapolis City Council pushed the deadline back to July 1st to give companies like us a chance to get set up. As soon as we get the green light, we will start the driver sign up there.

      @@chris.coffin Percents mean nothing. 100% won't be much if Wridz starts lowering the driver pay. The actual amount you get paid, not the percentage, is what matters most.
      And, Wridz may want to lower the fares to compete with Uber, Lyft, and other app companies.

      @@vshah1010I’ve been with Wridz for 2.5+ years, and have loved it. About 20% of my monthly business is Wridz. The pay is set per minute and per mile based on the region to try to be competitive with the area, but they’re not lowering once the price is set. Since I’ve been with Wridz, Uber and Lyft have had 2 major pay/price reductions yet Wridz hasn’t changed.

      @@vshah1010Wridz fares are comparable to Ubers. You have no idea what you are talking about! And why would Wridz lower our pay? You don’t get that Wridz looks out for their drivers AND riders. They are better than Uber and Lyft in so many ways. Why are you so negative about Wridz??? I personally think you should stay with Uber and Lyft and let them continue to rake you over the coals. You seem to enjoy how they treat drivers.

    Wridz is not paying surge pay, so at certain times you may make less. Also, Wridz sets the driver pay, not the driver.
    It may be a better deal, but no rideshare app company will be fair to the driver. Drivers and riders will get the best result if there are many competitors.

    • @josephinemiller4780
      @josephinemiller4780 Před 5 měsíci +3

      Wridz is ABSOLUTELY fair to us! I drive for them. Getting 100% of the fare isn’t better than getting 40-60% from Uber and Lyft? It absolutely is. And riders not having to pay a surge price is what draws them to Wridz and they will request specific drivers that are saved in the app. Uber and Lyft will NEVER allow direct driver requests. I wouldn’t bad mouth a company you know absolutely nothing about. I’ve been with them for over 2 yrs now and they are the best!
