The Aletsch Arena is a region in the canton of Valais, Switzerland, that I visit regularly throughout the year. Of course, I'm particularly fond of the winter. But summer is also very cool here. There are many hiking possibilities and for nature lovers it is the perfect place!
The Aletsch Arena consists of three main parts: Fiescheralp, Bettmeralp and Riederalp. And when I'm in Bettmeralp, I spend my nights in the Hotel Waldhaus. It is one of the few hotels here that is dog-friendly. You definitely have to book a Holz-100 room! When you walk into these rooms, it smells of fresh forest - you feel at home within seconds!
