We stayed at Dockside from May 27 to June 5. We have two suites in floor 6, we went with a family crew. It was an excellent experience at the hotel and facilities. Food at the hotel was excellent and the Starbucks is a A+. Dockside it’s our new home away from home.
i was wondering what the bus was like at universal thank you for showing us. looks pretty simple i would look into staying here for my next trip in october

Thanks for saying hi, unfortunately my little guy got a case of stage fright I guess and all of a sudden he was real shy and wouldn't say anything but we watch all the Universal videos like Rix Flix, Pugh Two, Potter Collector and a while back yours started popping up as suggestions and you are without question his favorite. He kinda chickened out coming up to you at the Universal Store the night before lol and then was totally in shock when we went up to spray people and you were right there. Anyway just wanted to say thanks for saying hello and keep up the great content.

We stayed in this hotel in the begining of July. For a party of 5 we had 2 queen beds, tv a kitchen area with sink, mini fridge, microwave and cofeemaker and a table with a bench and chairs. The separate room was also equipped with a Queen bed and TV. like a small appartment type. My kids enjoyed the pool, the free use of towels and how friendly and attentive the staff are. Food at the Pier was decent and for me was plenty to choose from. The hotel is deff family oriented and for us it felt safe. We used the parking lot since Disney's park were literally less than 15 minutes away and Universal's less than 10. It is a lot of restaurants, around also in case you dont like what they offer. Overall We loved it! We also stayed in the first floor. No noise at all. I will deff comming back to this hotel.

We've not stayed at Dockside or Surfside either one yet, but it's our ultimate goal to try and net at least one stay in every Disney and Universal resort in the long run. The room is definitely nice! I must say, I'd heard that Dockside had thin walls and that it was tough to get a good nights' sleep...but it honestly looks more comfortable than a Disney value resort! 😍Plus, it looks to have a pretty great pool. Moving it on up within our list - thanks for taking us around for the tour!

We stayed at Surfside for HHN last year and we loved it. Such a great value. Love the sand at the pool. Universals value resorts are actually a value compared to Disney. We tried the gelato at the quick service at surfside and it was delicious. We had a pool view & the only downside was that it was very loud. Def get your steps in and don’t need the gym 😂 Great tour ❤ LGR!
I'm going to stay here in NOVEMBER 2023, after Halloween Horror nights, just before the "Year of the Dragon" begins !!! I'm aware of the Chinese zodiac calendar changing to the Dragon in 2024 !!!
At Endless Summer they do not have a walking path to the parks, just bus service. They say the buses run every 15 minutes but in my experience it is always quicker! The buses just go to the parks and back so depending on traffic and how quick people get on and off the bus it will be quicker than 15 minutes.
Going to stay at this resort in Dec. for 4 nights. Good to see a coffee maker in the room I'm not a morning person and it's a MUST HAVE for me! Anyone know if there is coffee in Pier 8? I'm kind of bummed to learn there isn't a hot tub anywhere though. We are having a redo trip seeing as hurricane Ian wrecked our vacation at the end of Sept. We did get compensated with 2 park to park tickets and express passes and made the decision to stay in a value resort it made sense seeing as we didn't need the tickets or passes. We're excited to explore I drive and all the attractions there also.
The universal hotels look fantastic! We have stayed in Orlando twice ( 2015 and 2019 ) and stayed at doubletree by Hilton at Seaworld the first time, and Coronado Springs the 2nd. We are staying there again in September, but we have that 1 night at Hard rock half way through for the express passes. Such a great deal. But the universal hotels you have shown, look every bit as good as Disney.👍
I didn't think it was as busy honestly. I feel like everyone at Universal is coming and going to the parks at such different times since the hotels and parks are so close people go later or come back for some rest.
Yeah I was worried about the coffee maker situation I was told they didn’t have any in the rooms . Also you mentioned that if we stay on the 1 and 2 floor we can get a pool view?
Great video I’m planing to go to that resort this month. Is it great for families ? My kids really don’t like the universal parks. But we usually stay at the hotel and pool areas.

About how much is the food in the food court at dockside for breakfast and lunch? Is it pricey or about like mcds?

You can get a pool view on any floor but we were told at check in that if you are on floor 1 or 2 you aren't charged more money for the pool view!

I would say Endless Summer Resorts and Cabana Bay are the top 2 family friendly resorts at Universal! Have a great time!

Yeah I could hear people outside but by 10:30-11pm it quieted down. Honestly I'm so tired at the end of a park day that it wasn't a bother

There is no bus that Universal provides. Typically a lot of people use a rideshare like Uber to get to Disney from Universal!
