Cant wait for the mods to come out which put actual sponsors into the game. Honestly think thats the only thing missing from this preview build otherwise looks amazing!

Coming from F1 Manager 22, this is SUCH A MASSIVE STEP UP and I'm so excited. From the Affiliates down to the timing tower changing positions to make it more clear, absolutely wonderful. Just from Q1 alone, the quali behavior of the AI is vastly improved too! Although the AI tires being shown the exact percentage is annoying. It should just be "Used" or "New" or "X laps old"

Oh my gosh it's a sports game that actually improves gameplay over the cross of 2 years and adds a lot of content with each entry! Man I wish EA would improve it's sports game over the course of 2 years!

The glare on the driver cam (behind helmet) makes me feel like I have feg in my eyes....I hope they remove that :(
I played the last 2 years on the PS5 and it was a decent game the amount of customisation in the new one makes it a longer term option to play beyond 2/3 seasons when you've won it all and your car is maxed out, great to see
When the modern games achieve the level of detail Team F1 had in the '90s and allow you to develop your own engines, I'll be satisfied. :)

@@yungteatowel they wouldn’t market it with content creator videos if it wasn’t close to finished. And if they haven’t been able to fix such a major error in the last year’s game by now, they won’t fix it during the time left before release.

I dunno whether it would be moddable somehow or, if you could at least make some sort of plug-in to allow you to transfer money between games…. But you should try an manage a Milton Keynes based F1 team and MK Dons at the same time with a shared budget! (If it can’t be modded, just do it on an honesty system)

I've loved F1 since the days of Sir John Young and normally would buy this day one but I saw it's Frontier. Unfortunately I promised myself never to buy a Frontier game again, so sadly I'll be passing on this but I hope you all have a lot of fun.. Someone remake Tyrrell for me please :D

Considering the eye-watering level of customisation in the create a team, I'm now extremely worried that they've spent all their time doing that and the actual gameplay, which has *always* been the game's problem and the reason it doesn't have much longevity, has been completely ignored lol
Think the ability to simulate race sessions combined with moving teams like they added last year and affiliate drivers you develop should add a lot to longer save games and getting through seasons that previously might have felt like a slog
Nice first impression and good decision to put liam and theo into the new team so there's no need to poach any current drivers on the grid

My favorite thing about this is that create a team adds a team to the grid rather that having to replace one.
I found last year's to lack any tactical decisions as there was never any crashes or sudden rain
The best reason to get Pourchaire is so you can replicate what the Americans call him in Indy Car Racing "Old Teddy Porkchops!" 🙂
If someone can mod the sponsors to real ones, the customization is going to be awesome

I think the idea of multiplayer is probably better than the reality of it, realistically you'd have to play sessions at x1 speed as you both might be making different tweaks at different times. Then it becomes a case of finding 2-3 hours to play a race at the same time
@@WorkTheSpace Cant say I see it that way. There are various things you could do to make it an enjoyable experience. Scheduling concerns would always be the same in all multiplayer games so that wouldn't be an issue. Co-Op or even full multiplayer would be an unbelievable experience. Imagine playing with 9 other managers all fighting for the championship.
Having played my fair share of management games with large online group I promise you they're not very enjoyable. Everyone has their own pace and way of playing the game, the difference in scheduling these kind of games is the time it takes to comintue to make progress. It's not like an F1 racing league where you turn up for 2 hours and do 2 races, F1 Manager can take that kind of time to just to practice and quali. It's not very fun in a race or a season where your drivers both crash out or the season is a write off with nothing to race for and you can't x16 the speed because of everyone else playing
@@WorkTheSpace The beauty of the current F1 grid would be there would only be a need for 10 managers. With Co-Op 2. Ive found it easy to schedule multiple years of management games with multiple users. It gave the game longevity for me.
Most multiplayer games would require all parties to be on at the same time so that wouldn't be any different to those. I would definitely rather it there than without
I don't disagree that co-op could be a great addition but I think given where the game is at currently the core systems need work before multiplayer should be considered. I don't think there's a single sports management game on the market that has a substantial multiplayer playerbase sadly and I think Frontier know that

22 minutes in but I cant hold it in any longer. Is there a way to see 'potential' ability of younger drivers? Seems like the Academy feature might be a bit of a gamble if you cant tell who might develop or not...
I don't believe so, although if its like last year potential is somewhat limitless it comes down to when the development rate begins to slow down

10:19 I have a feeling the reason why you don't have the team logo option of a Bull is less to do with potential copywrite of people copying Red Bull and more to do with Jack replacing the elephant with a pair of Bulls at 11:18 to create a logo considering of a pair of Cock and Bulls.... Guarenteed all male streamers will go with this option if allowed to.....
