- Spring has sprung! We took full advantage of a gorgeous day this past weekend by taking Ezra and Nova out to a small, beautiful, quiet park for a little picnic. This was Nova's first time outside with other animals and people, so instead of exploring, she hung out in her little tent while taking in all the sights and smells. We're looking forward to getting her more comfortable with the outdoors so she can walk around and adventure with Ezra!

Cute video, as always! These two play rough but seem to love it. Nova would walk all over a more laid-back dog but Ezra is up for it. Your interpretations of their faces and what they are thinking is the best!

She's incredibly persistent, but Ezra definitely tells her when he's had enough. He asserts his boundaries and makes sure she knows he's still top dog. 🔝🐶

I know many Cats, they Love the Butt Clap.
One of my many cats was especially fond of trail walking. In Seattle, there are several parks with woods and those were his favorite. Cato would walk about four feet, sniffing the path, then turn back those four feet, now sniffing the edging vegetations, then return the same four feet as he sniffed the vegetation a few inches in from the trail. Occasionally, the smells were so enticing or interesting that Cato did another round trip on the same four feet!
One walks we took was a somewhat steep path from Capitol Hill - Interlaken Park - down to the Washington Park Arboretum. Cato did the every-four-feet for more than 75% of the trail, about a mile. Watching his four-foot repetitions could be boring for me, but it was worth being bored because Cato really enjoyed doing "his thing" without input from the leash.

I have 2 at home just like that! We started taking our cat out into our garden on a lead (indoor cat) and now he just walks around with our dog (Sandie) off lead and comes in when called. We live by the sea so started taking the cat (Max) down the beach and he loves it. Not keen on other people being around though, like Nova but will soon get used to it! Thank you for sharing, love them both they are so funny 😹

Jackson Galaxy recommends "High Fives". Once you succeeded to train your cat to touch your palm, you can then start training a sequence, e. g. left palm, right palm, left palm. The command is ofc "high five" .

@@ezranovaconan with an animal that intelligent-like with a toddler, there can be a great amount of frustration from not being able to communicate, you might actually find her behaviour improves if she has a way to tell you what she wants and needs, it's also a plus if they can express if they are ever in pain. But it's just a suggestion, maybe get her the trial pack of 2 buttons and she if she's interested.

I have a male cat who also seems to like booty bongo.Maybe your male cat was just too proud. My male cat is also just such a lover boy, loving on me, the dog, and the other cats with the loudest pur of them all, though the rest are girls with quiet purs.
