- Time to get crafty!!! I made this Money Cake for my son’s 12th birthday!! I want to make this quarantine birthday extra special so I used some of my hoarded craft stash and Joann’s Curbside Pick up! I so enjoyed sharing this video with my heart healers (subscribers) because crafting is my passion!!

Now, don't forget that your son is happy with the money, you're happy with the memory (and maybe the video of the event), but no one wants to keep the foam, the sticks and the ribbons! ;)

@@Mar10la she has a whole house full of "save it for a later project" since the paper was hot glue gunned to the foam-it really wouldn't be able to be used again. 😊 The chance of helping the environment was forgone as soon as the foam was purchased.

😊i’m from Sweden, and I’m watching other videos about Hoarding and decluttering as Well . It seems that being artistic and have a lot of things are common.
. I also found a channel with an organizer who also makes crafts. 😃 I guess it’s personal what one enjoys, It’s a lady named Gail (i think) who has a channel named Clutter Fairy. I got some Good decluttering ideas from her channel.

What a cute idea, we have three grands that have BD side by side so we combine into one party for all three. No one needs three cakes so this will be the next thing I do at the next party. I will make one for each one, they will love it.

For the environment, Can use a couple of cake tins upside down, instead of using foam. Could even use a natural glue recipe from flour and water to stick the paper to the cake tins. Lots of recipes online.

Next time, you can cut a circle out of one of your cardboard boxes and cover it in foil. My mom used to sell cakes when I was small and that is what she did

You can dry-iron paper to smooth it out. Use the wool/silk setting.

Going to do this instead of gift cards or presents/toys! I think the only thing I’d do different is add a TON of the curly ribbon on the top layer. It would kind of look like icing. Again what a great idea!!

You are such a clever Mom! So much fun to shop your own house with your new organization. Monday: Been playing twenty items. Since very very downsized, the items are very small. Zone four and WHB day in Flylady land. Raining today, so not a yard day. The plants will be okay til tomorrow that need to be set out. Running the usual wash. We had an early dinner so that is done so I can rest a bit.
