@@samuraiknight4250 Unfortunately, there aren't any Canadian made mattresses that are especially good for heavier weighted sleepers. As a result, the best option is the Helix Plus, shipping from the US - naplab.com/go/helix-plus-mattress
@@NapLabReviews I needed to finance it so it had to be in canada. I ended up going with the Emma Hybrid Premium. I am hoping that will be good enough.
@@samuraiknight4250 I'd love to hear what you think about it. Normally, I wouldn't say any of Emma's mattresses are appropriate for heavier weighted sleepers. But perhaps it will perform better than expected.
Hi great review, im debating between this mattress and the L&C Frontier, im 6'1 250Ibs athletic build and am a combo sleeper. id like some pressure relief for the shoulders and support around the hips, Ive had other mattress but they all tend to sag in the middle so if there are any recommendations ill be happy to investigate, thanks!
Both of these models are strong performers in our tests, but the Frontier did earn a better score. You can see the side by side here - naplab.com/tools/side-by-side-mattress-comparison-tool/?_mattress_name_dropdown=endy-hybrid%2Cd7c600f312ce57cc678b28132f7acadb If I had to pick one I'd say go with the Frontier.
I'm 5'7, 150 lbs, and primarily a side sleeper here (sometimes stomach). I was debating between the Endy Original, Endy Hybrid and any of the Douglas mattresses. I do like some bounce but I do know that not all of these offer that.
My first pick for you would be Douglas Original, followed by Endy Hybrid, and then Endy Original. That said, if you want more bounce then go with Endy Hybrid, it has the most of any of these 3 and enough to be classified as "high" bounce (based on our scales).
Hi there, love the quality reviews that you bring to the mattress industry! I weigh roughly 140lbs at 5'7 and I'm looking for hybrid only for the support, I can't decide between L&C Frontier or Endy Hybrid or is there another option you think would be better? Thanks!
Thanks very much! glad to hear my reviews are hitting the right marks. Based on our tests of both the L&C Frontier and Endy Hybrid, I would go with the Frontier. In our tests, it earned a better score. In addition, it's got a medium to medium-firm feel. Whereas Endy Hybrid has a medium-firm to slightly firm feel. Given your body weight I think you'll be happier with the Frontier.
First off your videos are great. Ive been sleeping on this mattress for about 2 weeks now and it is way too firm for us (155lbs/120lbs). Can you recommend something slightly more on the medium side with less bounce. We are both side sleepers. Is the L&C frontier alot more plush ? thanks !
L&C Frontier is likely going to be your best bet. Endy Hybrid is a 6.5 out of 10, giving it a medium-firm to slightly firm feel. L&C Frontier is a 5.5 out of 10, giving it a medium to medium-firm feel. So it is softer, but not quite "soft". I think it's about what you're looking for.
@@NapLabReviews thanks. I know the foam mattresses are on the softer side but I would prefer to keep the coils for longevity. If the L&C is a bit more plush and you sink in more since we are so light I think it may work for me
Hey! Been watching some of your videos, really helpful. Was looking at getting the Douglas Summit but heard that it would not be ideal for ‘heavier’ sleepers. I’m guilty of sleeping on my stomach at times. For context, I’m a 6’1 230-240 lb athletic male with experience of mattress+ bed slats giving out on me in the middle (over years). Was looking into the Endy Hybrid, Octave Mirage, & the aforementioned Douglas but I’m not too sure, wondering perhaps if someone with your expertise might be able to give a recommendation. Appreciate it!
At 230-240 I don't think your body weight would make the Douglas Summit a bad choice. As sleepers start to get closer to 300 pounds it becomes more of an issue. Between Endy Hybrid, Octave Mirage, and Douglas Summit I definitely lean more towards Octave or Douglas. Both performed notably better than the Endy Hybrid and are just higher quality mattresses, in my view.

Very happy with my Endy. Perfect firmness. No aches or pains the next day!

Yep, Endy works great given your needs and preferences. It's a mattress designed for the masses, and you're well within the sweet spot.
