Checking how many subs you have now compared to the less than 10K a week or two ago, it is well earned! Thorough, simple and unbiased vlogging is what we need now in the influx of Pinoy-Baiting. Oh man, you are really hardcore, Mergim! Tondo is considered the most dangerous area of Manila. Yet, you brave it all and show the beauty of its people and food. From the cute young girl selling you the maiz con yello (it means "corn with ice") and her friendly colleague to the fellow customers you were eating with to the vendor who offered you an umbrella for free so you wouldn't get wet from the rain to the cute and friendly coffee shop girl asking when you would post your vlog to the boys playing basketball with you, these are human beings with the true heart and soul of Tondo. There's just so much potential in Tondo that should not be ignored by our leaders. Keep up with your brilliant vlogs, mate. You are gaining traction in this market ... believe me when I say - you haven't even scratched the surface yet. Be well and stay safe! Hahaha!!

@@MergimVlogsYT I live in Tondo. The "Tondo is a dangerous place" is just a stereotype, so don't be afraid. People demonized the place so much to the point that when people hear Tondo they immediately think of drugs, guns, killing and poverty porn. That's true maybe back in the 80s or 90s, now I don't think so living here for about 19 years. So yeah just avoid going to sketchy places and always be cautious with your belongings especially when you're in the slums/squatter area. You will also notice that people speak less and less English compared to BGC because of poor education. But yeah enjoy!
