    Some HUGE information that I got from this video was that these hoops dont have to be used permanently. I always only thought of embroidery as within these hoops forever as decor lol. Once I watched this, initially out of curiosity, I got a hoop and began to embroider a large tapestry I have in my living room! I havent felt so productive and creative in awhile and you helped immensely with that. So thank you!!!

      That’s how I felt too! Sat here thinking to myself (after buying all the supplies one could ever need lol overly ambitious with all this free time) what the heck am I gonna do with hoops upon hoops of random designs hahaha I’ve heard of doing some framing as well aside from clothing.

      That’s amazing!! I’m really sorry I’m so late to respond to this. I love that it inspired you to be creative. I think many people see that hoop as a permanent frame as opposed to a tool!! Hope you are still creating 💜💜

      Sorry for the very delayed response! I’m not great at answering comments! To get started you should have a small variety of floss colours, an embroidery hoop (maybe 5 or 6 inch) a few needs of different sizes (small to large holes) and some fabric! In the beginning when you are just messing around sometimes it’s good to use scraps of old clothes or some other fabric source you can recycle!

    • @riverbirchthreads4791
      @riverbirchthreads4791  Před 4 lety +5

      Alexandra Vasquez hey there! After you finish with a section of floss and trim it you can tie it off in a secure knot right away on the underside. This way the back stays nice and clean and you don’t have to worry about pulling up unwanted floss.
      Either that or just pull the floss back down - it’s annoying but ultimately wont damage your work at all.
