Excellent halfguard teaching! I've been training bjj for about 18months and I think my bottom halfguard has not been so improved though I gave it some lot effort. But your instruction gave me a big inspiration. Thank you a lot.

Is there a reason that you didn’t have your arms switched during the arm drag (so your right hand grabbed his tricep) for a more powerful drag?
Just to save a step and make less obvious, the sleeve control is usually enough to drag the opponent, otherwise yes the regular armdrag is also always a great option @2:27
