@@austinkluth6806 You might want to take a look at Cassiy Johnson's channel. She has a step-by-step tutorial for creating a Printify Account, Etsy store, and linking them together. I used her video to setup my store, and I"ll be honest, I don't think I could have done it on my own. So many things to consider!
Awesome Alak
Where is your automated script tool? Is it done yet?
Just downloaded the figma and the T-shirt frame and wanted to literally downloaded to the figma but it says "Files failed to import…
File format not recognized or failed to convert"
Using window.
Please note that when you download a font make sure you read the license info. There will be a text document within the font download. Some will say commercial use, but with limitations. I only use ones that say freeware or public domain. I use fontspace.
Thanks for that info!!
I can't get the font to work inside of Figma :( I've downloaded it, I don't understand how to get it to move over.
Thank you!
@@Im_AshParker I can't either and no one is explaining it.....doesn't seem so transparent to me!
google font is free for commercial use right?
Hey Alek, often when I am checking the quantity of results for a niche, I often see "1,000+ results, with Ads" but it won't give me the specific number of results like you feature in your videos. Are there additional settings I need to adjust for when searching? Sort by Relevance, Most Recent, or Top Customer Reviews for example? Nothing I change seems to give me more accurate result numbers.
The tip about white lettering...omg brilliant!
There are some videos that are useless, then there is one video that explains all. Thank You Alek, this was super helpful.
I’ve watched several CZcamsrs explain how to create shirt designs “simply” and this is by far the simplest method that is explained perfectly with actionable bonus tips. Well done, new sub.
Fantastic! Step by step clear and detailed instructions that are easy to follow. Thanks so much!
Dude, you're the GOAT with this. Everything down to the T. Incredibly helpful and thank you for helping everyone, including me, that wants to learn to be successful in this space.
Great video. I've been thinking for a while about the method I use to create so many designs. Actually it's the same approach I started out as a guitarist. I took the best techniques and licks from my favorite guitarists and reassembled them into new material in my own way.
I can't thank you enough for your step by step videos! You make this process so easy and I am definitely going to be trying this for sure!
Did it worked?
You are much more “transparent” about how to be successful in a POD business than other CZcamsrs. Thanks 🙏
ppl are scammers and know how much money you can make even generatjng shit content
This is not transparent at all lol. He didn't show where to get all the fonts he used in the video and didn't show how to add them to figma
Just took about 4 pages of handwritten notes, thanks! Im a writer so it helps me 🙂 and your content is so straightforward that I barely have to even think to write all the key points!
You're a great teacher, appreciate it!
Alek I must say that it's great to watch your videos. They are well edited, do not bore and give specific quick examples. Definitely please keep the production value so high.
Thanks, will do!
I love your content Alek! Finally someone who actually makes videos and provides all the Info on how to ACTUALLY DO IT. I am so thankful for your transparency!! ❤
Glad you like them!
@@alekSheffy Hey, I'm sorry but I didn't see the see the Shirt template
How do you link these designs into printify plz someone answer
I like that you simplify the content into easy to understand steps. Thanks for your expertise and teaching.
I appreciate your knowledge and ability to break down information. I’m a teacher so I notice how you make things easier to learn. I’m new to all of this technology, so I’m grateful for you.😄
This is the stuff people charge for ! Great content immediately subscribed . Thank you so much ☺️
If you're having problems with the text scaling. Make sure to change your mouse tool to scale. You can also do this by hitting K.
Awesome video I’m just getting started and trying to learn as much info as I can to get up and running! It’s so overwhelming but videos like this make it possible. Thank You
By far the best video I've seen on starting POD. Dude, you're awesome.
Just wanted to say that I've been trying to get into POD for years but I've felt so overwhelmed in the process. Watching your 100k in 8 months selling mugs video literally broke everything down for me in a way that finally made perfect sense. That day I started my Etsy store! I already have 8 listings up and more every day. Thank you for making this series and doing what you do!
how much money we talking bro
Any sales yet?
@@CODEDSOUNDS money is not important
@@Nobody-eg4biIt is literally everything when starting a business online lol
how much sales now?
Bro I've watched like 1000+ vids about this topics.. But your the only that made me stand up and run to my computer and do the everything without even looking back or running into obstacles and getting demotivated coz idk everything. I really appreciate the fantastic work and teaching. I'm pretty sure everyone is who has watched this.. Much love brother, we need more of your kind..
Thanks mate, I'm glad it was helpful 🤙
Hey have you made any sales yet ?
Alek, you're an information God. So transparent and open. Love you brother.
GREAT video/tutorial Alek! Thank you for sharing!
I've watched so moany youtubers on starting an Etsy / Printify type of business. You are without a doubt the best! #1 - I appreciate how you walk us through everything step-by-step. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, advice, and experiences with us all!
You are simply amazing in how you make simple tutorials and not too complicated like other CZcamsrs that scare the newbies!
Your videos are really killing it man. Keep up the good work!
Thank you!
Alek, Thanks for the transparency. You don't get this kind of real videos anywhere nowadays ✨
the information you provide is incredibly valuable. Thank you
Wow! Great info! I'm super interested in the mockup generator -- I use photoshop, and creating the mockups is where I spend the most amount of time. Figma looks like a great tool -- I love the search/replace -- so simple! I'm definitely checking this out. Also, thanks for the tips on how to use bestsellers for inspirations!
Alek this is golden, as all your videos! Watching it on repeat, keeps me motivated. Thank you for the great info you are sharing! Means a lot
Happy to hear that!
What I love about this channel is that you deep dive. That is the fucking difference. All the gurus stay on the surface. This walk-thru content is the shit I’ve been looking for. Amazing channel bro LFG! 💪
This was so helpful! Thank you for making these videos and sharing your journey.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for being "transparent" with your process, creatively a bit low effort but still a super viable option. Killer vid 🔥
a bit low effort? where's your content?
Funny thing is the plain text sales are through the roof.
@@drewmow I know huh, go figure?
Great tips. Keep up the good work!
Love your content as always, Alek. I gained so much value from this. Thank you so much for sharing your tips. 🙏
Honestly bro, I'm very very VERY new to this POD thing and every time I go from binging other CZcamsr's videos to your videos I'm in shock at how much meaningful detail you go into while simultaneously being nowhere near as long as any other Etsy enthusiast.
Are you still in the POD business, if so how's it all going?
This is the by far the best video I’ve seen for this stuff. Thank you so much!
UR a GENIUS, much love and thanks for being this transparent in your videos
Love your channel, Alek! thanks so much for all the inspiration and tips! Love to see the automation tool for Printify you spoke of...trying Vela too in Etsy, but love to see what you have up your sleeve :). Kristie
For those of you curious about the snapshot on Windows, it's windows key + shift + s . Amazing content and another great video, thank you Alek.
thank you
Thank you. I was about to do some Google research.
Thank you!!!
Thank you so much!!
finaly lol
This is definitely a video you want to keep in your back pocket!!!!! Straight gems ❤❤❤❤
Your videos are awesome and super helpful. Finally a step by step guide for print on demand.
Hi Alek I found your videos so useful thanks for share your knowledge.
For the POD business on etsy do you suggest to have one store or multiple stores? One for mugs, one for t shirt or just one that incorporates many niches? Same question for the digital with mid journey one store per niche or one with many niches? Thank you
I've been learning a lot from your videos lately. Just wanted to say thank you! I'm in the process of opening an Etsy store and learning everything as I go. Your focus on quantity over quality in particular has helped me to be less perfectionist about things.
Bot
Thank you Alek! Love your advise, I am only just begun so happy I found you.
This is golden! Thank you so much! Just found you today! Super helpful
this process is SO MUCH faster than my current photoshop only process.
I think I been going at it from "art and design only" and neglected the "speed and process" aspect.
I'll use photshop to mix in sick images, and use Figma to help process and mix the images with the fonts to create awesome design combos.
Thanks bro you got a sub and like from me +
Hi Alek. Rock solid content. All the praise and props you're getting are well deserved. Question... Any update on the Photoshop auto-generating mockup script and Printify uploader program you mention at the end of the video? Thanks.
Whoa! I can't wait to dive into all of this! Thanks!
Awesome info Alek, greatly appreciated.
Obsessed with your channel, it’s definitely the most informative and has helped me tremendously!! Just did my first month and made 10 sales!! Thank you!!
Ayyy big congrats
@@88spins I appreciate it so much! 😊
Hey man, how many listings do you have? Just trying to get a general idea. I just started my store last week too
@@JohnSmith-bs9ym I have 65 listings currently
@@Mamamia90210 Hey thanks 🙏 I plan to make about 100 this month, hopefully some of them will sell 😆
FYI for anyone wondering. The distressed overlay needs to be a PNG file. You can't download a JPG and expect the overlay to work
It doesnt work for me for some reason
Thanks for helping clarify this
Still doesn't work.
@@philho.youtube For whatever reason, in the video he does the graphic below the text so the text sits on top. I dont know if they changed it, but i got it to work with the picture sitting over the text. So the Text sits beneath it. It worked that way.
You are right! Thank you for your help! @@hang1893
Another golden video Alek! I think you are the first CZcamsr in my life that has watched all their videos and will watch the new, one straight away when it appears. Well done! Keep at it.
Oh yeah I dont see your Etsy 40 free listing link as going to start an Etsy soon and want to give you the credit.
Thank You for your content!
Hi Alek,
Great video - thank you!
How would you suggest we investigate the quality of the actual T-shirts?
It's the fit & feel of the final product that will drive the best reviews.
Appreciate any thoughts
I’m starting my Etsy this week but I’m a bit scared. Watching your videos is making me excited! I need this workflow! 😁
Good luck!!
Hi Prescilla, I'm in the same boat as you. Best of luck
Wouw, this video is packed with info! Thanks so much!
I love your teaching method! Absolutely amazing
Thanks a lot my Etsy store is scaling quite well and I am recovering all my losses thanks to you ❤❤❤❤
Wonderful!
whats your stores name?
Hey Alek, thanks for all your content man. I’m starting out on POD just this month. Good luck on your channel.
For your printify script, are you using a bot that goes through the different interactions on printify for you? Also have an ETA on when you’d release it. I’m a software engineer so I’m considering making my own but I’d hold off if you plan to release soon.
Thanks again!
How’s it going?
I really appreciate this video. Grateful!
Man, u are so honest and helpful about this. thank you a lot.
Hi alek! Absolutely love your vids! They are so info packed! I have one question - how does the process flow between Etsy and Printify work for custom designs? I assume to create the design we put in “custom text” in the printify design to publish it to Etsy. When they make the order in Etsy, how do we then change the graphic to whatever they specified?
Thanks! You'll make their text design in Figma > Export it > Upload it to their chosen product and use that to fulfill their order
I would suggest you do an A/B comparison between Printify and other printers. I chose Printful instead because they were faster with better quality, well worth the few dollars difference.
Love the videos! I'm also curious how do you upload the text designs into printify in order to publish them?
I also would like to know :)
My question exactly
Great video Alek. Well explained, and easy way to make T-shirt templates. This video is a must watch! Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Great info and post mate...Black and white, crystal clear....don't even have any questions...cheers! 💯
Thanks Alex, this video is super. Do you have any other tips on time management? I struggle due to working full time. I get an hour here and there and not making progress. I have 30 designs ready, but need to do mock ups, descriptions &, tags but can't seem to get going. I get side tracked so easily and get nothing accomplished 😭😅. Please tell me that getting started and set up is the toughest part 🤞😁🤪
Everything seems tough for me, I'm trying to get started myself, but I can't figure out even make one simple design. I am not tech savey at all but desperately want to make a business to get out of this 9-5 rut....
Hey Alek loving your updates been following your channel for a while now. I do have a question after watching this video, what is the workflow between figma>printify>etsy? Do you export all the designs as PNGs on figma, and then upload the images on printify that then publishes to etsy?
That's what it supposed to be, just like from canva to printfy then Esty.
*Thank you! Very VALUABLE information!* 💯
Just got around to watching this and just started lifting products, I'll keep everyone updated with how it goes :) thank you for all your help it's amazing
Bro the tip about the white color code is brilliant. 🤝
Thank you 🙌
Hi Alek, How did you import the fonts? I'm sure the answer is right here but I just can't see it thanks for your help Love your videos so helpful
Hi @lorrihalliday1499.. did you ever get an answer and or found an answer to your question
hi Lori, In Windows pc's I think the issue is with Figma not letting the formatting being imported in the Copy paste process..i am not a PC guru so .. what it does seem to do is that if you added the font you like from google fonts and downloaded and installed them .. the newly acquired fonts should be available in the Figma font library.. they did for me..
Also have Challenges with it.
Keep making videos like these bud we love you 🙌
This video was extremely helpful thanks so much
Am I the only person who immediately thought that shirt should say Master Baker instead? Yes, you're welcome.
Hahahaha same
Don't even need to see the shirt to know it's original wording based on this comment 😂😂
Lmfaoo
that t shirt says "designs that sell" 🙄🙄🙄🙄
Master baiter
I thought this was a good idea, but like the more i research how to do this stuff, the more i realize i need to put my soul aside..
Only way to make money my brotha, there’s no easy way no matter what people say
Very good video Alek, thank you! I have actually stopped watching other videos on this topic / similar topics, I am going to just focus on doing it that way you do, following your steps and see how I go!
Thank you for this unusually insightful content. You're amazing at presenting depth with ease in understanding. Love it.
I appreciate that!
I really like how you can work off the shirt, putting all your fonts and ideas off to the side. That really is helpful, I think. I just found your channel. New sub.
Hi Alex I really want to do this however figma is complicated do you have a step by step tutorial working with your Templar, and fonts? This video isn’t helpful for me to follow you.
Alek sorry my phone keeps spelling your name wrong
yes I cant see any way of adding the font files from google fonts to figma
Alek, thank you for your awesome work ...u seem very honest and straightforward, as well as transparent... I have been looking at videos for a couple of months now to start print-on-demand, and could not find someone to stick with, who would convince me. I have been watching for the last 2 weeks straight and set up my Etsy shop and signed up with Printful as you recommended. and signed up with Mid Journey and follow u thru there as well. Thank you once again😊🙏
This is so awesome! Thanks Alex!
