Honestly you’re spot on. The Isle is the dinosaur game of my dreams, but it is lacking and the developers couldn’t be any slower. Anyway, aside from how CLOSE Path of Titans is to becoming said dream game (it honestly just needs to steal some feature ideas from The Isle), one of the biggest things it has over The Isle at the moment, is that it’s available on ANY device! That’s mind blowing to me considering that I always WISHED the damn Isle developers would bring the game to consoles. Not only is The Path of Titans on consoles.. fam it’s on mobile!! 🤯 That’s enough for me to give my money to Path of Titans cause they obviously have the more committed and consistent developer team.
I think the isle wins here for my personal preference. It seems more natural, I’m used to dayz so the high tension high risk situations that’s get your heart pumping is what I’m looking for in a survival game
Dayz is one of my personal favourite games but the isle is just a bit of a dreadful experience, loosing 3hours worth of growing a dinosaur within like 5 minutes is kinda unrewarding and sucky.

@@10E_Nate Here’s the thing tho, in day z you start playing the actual game from the second you spawn, in the isle, you only start playing as that dinosaur once your fully grown. So where in three hours you’d have large dinosaur to finally start playing the actual game, in day z, those three hours would get you a fully geared character
Path of titans will be re doing their quests and already have a play test on their next big update ( the combat update) But the isle 1. Has UE5(as mentioned in the vid) 2. Will have the BEST eco system out of the big three 3. Just buy path of titans to pass the time until then
The Isle player here, When I get mad at the isle's bullshit I watch stuff on beast of Bermuda and path of titans debating on buying them. Every single time I go back to the isle with all it's bullshit because it's not asking me to pickup sticks to grow and I don't get ganged up on by mix packs. I'll buy Path of titans maybe one day but it's more of a pvp focused experience from what I've seen, The isle I play solo most the time and enjoy that aspect of it. I don't like fighting unless I need food.

Not exactly, and that's not the only reason. Yes, they are more complex and require more time, but we can't simply be like "Oh they are higher quality, therefore they update more". There are SO MANY THINGS they can work to make the game itself better and more interesting before even coming out with a dino, but they don't. It's not just "The Isle spends more effort", there's much more to that and, even if the game is more "complex", if they had their priorities right, we would indeed see more updates. Let's not act as if every update they did was of so high quality it justified taking so long
I'm a The Isle fan. I haven't been playing it for a long time, so I can't go back to the old times. But for me it's better than PoT because of the survival part. There is also PvP here, but the game is not primarily based on it. PoT does. Fun and all, but for those who don't want to kill Rexes with raptors, who don't attack everything that moves just because it's so funny, PoT won't be the best choice. If TI would get more regular updates, or, as the community says, if they would pay more attention to the needs of the players, it would be a great game. If the errors/bugs, worse game mechanics were fixed in a short time... it would be great. If the servers didn't lag so much, if there was a constant 30-40 fps... that would be good too. Perhaps they have gone too far with reality, and thus the game experience has decreased. At the moment, it's certainly fine with me, despite its flaws. I spent the 20 euros on it and did not regret it. People spend their money on far worse things and don't even get shit.
I just bought Isle. been playing Titans for a while but I like to try different dino games and Isle was nicely on sale 13€ and if it's true what you said I didn't pay too much for what I'm getting. Wish me luck for my new dino adventure ^__^
Feedback for future content: Let us know which game is on screen at all times. Sometimes you are talking about Path of Titans while showing The isle gameplay, and vice versa. Ive played them, thats why I notice and it isnt a big deal for me. But if you are here to find out which you game you should buy and had never played either, it would be more helpful to know which one is on screen. Especially games like this that look so similar in footage with no HUD.
The movement in the Isle is terrible and people think the isle has better graphics because there are more plants, just look at the Grand plains biome, it’s basically what the entire isle map is, plus the updates aren’t even game changing, they’re just “oh we added this dinosaur”. Stop acting like it’s a big thing that a 15 year old game is a little better than a 3 year old game in some aspects. The isle has so much potential but the team doesn’t care about the game at all anymore
Big thing is POT listens to its community and they are friendly and helpful and there is alot of updates and also its supporting modding so new dinosaurs are coming out all the time. But the biggest thing is, never play on oficial servers. Community servers are the way to go you just have to find one that fits what you want. Official servers are full of toxic random discord group that run around with 10 people relogging dinosaurs after u die spamming easy and insulting you. Official server POT is like crazy. I am playing on a Realism server with rules and its so much fun. The Isle on the other hand... normal one there is no updates coming out and devs are toxic to its community and there is nothing to do and evrima has so many bugs and its so bad they only fix stuff months later where Path of titans is updating their game all the time especially when bugs accur they fix it out fairly quickly. For me POT is the Nr. 1 Dinosaur game.

imma be honest after this recent isle update POT is kinda outclassed in a way. the new dinos in the isle created a really cool ecosystem that I really enjoy. I've been playing isle way more often than POT and might make a new video on the isle update. thanks for youre comment :)
@@koalaiscool4263 That is also true, The Isle and it's mechanics mechanics tend to be a lot more visually appealing like Dilo's venom right now, which is why I prefer it over any other dinosaur game on the market, with the new T.Rex animations they have shown too, it's like they are trying to make combat in the game look as movie-like as possible to have in a game.
I dont know that many path of titans players will switch to the isle after dondi releases that stupid new camera update which makes makes it harder to almost impossible to play the game.
