Amazing! I love that you worked with a horse that doesn't have sidepass knowledge as it really shows the learning process. Can't wait to try this method on my own boy!!
Excellent description to break down the steps and make it easy!
This is Great Zach!! Thank you. Im going to Saddleup Right now.
Great explanations! 👍 Helps me a lot to get my pieces into place for my young horse and find holes in his basics - thanks for sharing guys!
Love every single one of your videos, come to Canada for a clinic!!!!
Great information! Best demo video I've found and it works. Can't wait for part 2. Have you watched the Babylon Bee's 6 part series on a Californians moving to Texas?
Excellent !
You said nothing about the reins. I needed that.
Looks like he keeps them pretty neutral and then does some very slight corrections when doing the side pass to keep the horses head straight. That's what i observed anyway lol
Zach,
Do I need spurs to accomplish this maneuver with my 5 year old? I have not ridden with them.
Thank you great video!
You don't have to have them, per se, but depending on how motivated your horse is, it sure helps. Spurs should only be used as the last part of the cue, if needed. I always ride with them to keep my horses responsive to the leg by itself.
👍
Outstanding teaching.
Thank you!
