- In a nutshell:
1. Turn on Headtracking
2. Set EIS to HorizonSteady.
3. Use headtracking to aim the camera at the object while flying by it.
4. Maintain orbital path with small adjustments from the motion controller.
Apologize in advance if speech is a bit difficult to understand - poor mic and am fighting a cold.

Man, I recently bought the DJI AVATA PRO VIEW - FLY MORE COMBO and I was already convincing myself that head tracking was a useless function, that's because superstar the CZcamsrs say so. With his extremely didactic explanation, I understood the potential of the head tracking function in combination with the motion controller. Congratulations, I've subscribed to your channel!
Glad you found this content useful! Thanks for the sub!
I agree lol this vid was great
I agree too!! Thanks so much!!
thank you for being simple and straight to the point. no over explaining
Finally. I was curious how the Avata handles orbit shots. I was put off by the diagonal/tilting in the video, I didn't know DJI fixes this on export. A previous video didn't show this.
I've been searching for orbiting tutorial for almost a month now and accepted that with motion controller it's not possible. Finally landed to thus video and now I'm ready to try it myself. Thanks for this
Thanks for sharing for This Info Video ⚠️🔥
Thank you, great tip!!
Great tutorial, and thanks for sharing.
buddy!Super~ realyl excellent . ;)
This is good stuff. Way to go young boy!
Thanks for the info.. I'll give it a go.
Wow! Its a game change! Thank oy guy!
Thanks so much Jacob! I like the clarity of your explanation. New subscriber here. 💛🙏🏽
hmmm this is super useful, actually
Good job
Just what i was looking for thanks!
Thanks man!!! Fantastic!!!
Sweet!
Obrigado amigo. Estava frustrado com o Avata não poder fazer 360. 😅
Awesome video dude!
Thanks for this!

Thanks buddy! This is the way I will use the upcoming Avata in my book. As a newbie I just want to get the best cinematic footage using the easiest way.
Glad it was helpful!
Gracias !
Thanks and this lesson also let me know if need more than 1 battery…😜
Thank you so much Jacob! I got my AVATA 3 days ago and your video help me so much! 🥹
its work. thank you
I found your video very very useful. I just need more practice. I just have concerns over high altitude flying because i thought of bringing to the mountain.
top
Thanks you
Been looking for this video and ofc my avata is back at DJI getting repaired lol
I’ve had to send in my Avata for repairs too (crashed a lot trying sketchy stuff in manual mode). The DJI care refresh has been excellent, they sent me a new refurbished drone in 2 days!
It's still a lot of practise anyway thanks for sharing and seems to need more battery for this avatar😂
Hi! Great tutorial! Simple, clean and useful! What software you used to edit the footage after you filmed and add those spectacular effects?
Jacob, thats an amazing video. I wanted to know if i can use the motino controller + remote on the avata? i am thinking to ge the combo and use it for cinematic videos.
This is so cool man, thank you so much!!! How did you do that first transition with the van, it’s insane!?
love it good work, can I ask, what kind of range are you getting before your goggles start to lose signal, im not sure if its my goggles, or if my expecations were too high
Love your speed ramping in post. How much faster do you go - 300%? 500% More?
thanks, does head tracking can be also use for the movement of drone and controller will just be the accelarator. How many meters to start losing signal if flying low with obstacle, building and trees
THANK YOU 😂 i just buy the avata 2 and i search everywhere how to do the orbite
am I obliged to actived the horizonstady? Cause i use gyroflow for the stabilisation
I just got the Mini 3 pro. Having problems with the motion controller, it seems like it's working in reverse.
can avata orbit looking downward, without downward(altitude)
Does dji goggles v2 also equipped with head tracking?
Can you still obtain Gyroflow data despite horizon steady being put on? Or is it possible to orbit with EIS off?
Hey Ian - totally possible to orbit with EIS off as that doesn't have any effect on what you see in the goggles while recording. This was just my preference as I usually want to have a level horizon when orbiting an object.
@@surfingdwedge ahh I see! Thanks so much 🤩
I can't get head traking in my goggles 2
