yesterday i visited jawa showroom. I sat on three bikes Jawa 42, Yesdi roadster and Jawa Bobber.. When I sat on the Bobber, without knowing I smiled.. I'm not mad, LOL, Bobber made me smile .. it was so amazing, just loved the bike's style and the seating .. man it was awesome.. yet to take test ride though not sure how it would feel. But Loved it.
True coz every jawa bike has downside bar end mirror which is quite impressive .. and doesn't hit wrist while reversing but yeh chutiya mirror ko upar karke galti nikal raha hai.

Man this bobber looks extremely good and RE stands nowhere near it. Most of the people are going to buy it for looks, hence not much of a competition here.
So, writing from England here. I'm hoping to pass my full bike test this year or early next year. 57 years old. Just getting into biking. Having lots of fun on my Mutt Hilts 125cc. So, I'm looking for my next bike and I really love the Royal Enfield 350 Classic. Have to say though, the Jawa looks amazing! If they ironed out the issues you mentioned, I reckon the 42 bobber would be my choice. So difficult though. Excellent review mate. Thanks very much indeed! 👍

It's really unfortunate to know that these so called "motorcycle experts" dunno anything about the transmissions, the gear ratios, the long and the short gears. And it's a pity that they dunno how to correctly downshift by rev matching.
Conclusion: If u want a no nonsence bobber and only a soul bobber since u are very specific, get Jawa 42 bobber. ( its like a wanna-be street fighter bobber) if u want a lil bit of everything which is stable for 2 people with added luggage get the RE. but: engine quality for longer time, RE is best even beyond it's class
The space issue you have mentioned it is because you are not comparing a bobber to another bobber these are 2 segment machine bro. Just taking a seat out doesn’t make it bobber so the comparison is not correct.
I know re has really good bike but people are hating jawa for no reason....i own jawa 42 2.1 and its is one hell of a machine .......(he metioned some problem in bobber which i don't face while riding it like vibration)

Royal Enfield bikes are incomparable to their entire line up. They have yet to figure out the basics of motorcycle. The brand is just cheap cash grab betting on nostalgic brand names, this has nothing to do with original Jawa except for cosmetics which is only skin deep. Every bike of RE is world class, I wouldnt have said it 5 yrs ago but now their game is completely changed for the good.
Classic 350 doesn't vibrate at all? Have you lost it? My Uncle own one, new one tooo, and most of the days i ride it. It vibrates like crazy after i cross 85ish mark, i also rode bobber 42 its runs like butter at speeds like 90..... Bro dont bias towards something because you have a personal liking.
U don't need short stroke high compression engine in retro style bikes for that reason my bet will be on Classic 350, it's great all rounder...love the retro style RE badging on fuel tank, Pure old school look🔥

Moreover ample power is available in all rev ranges of gixxer......be it low end or high end power.....the engine is so eager to zoom further from 120 km/hr irrespective of the prospective gear u r in.....
jawa 42 is only for looks and show but after months you will realise what the actual bike maintainences will on jawa On the other hand RE Is best. for long time and stable riding comfort and easy for servicing and maintainences. think twice youngster's before buying a bike with you'r father's money 😒.
Honestly, with all due respect to Royal Enfield, this Bobber version looks horrendous. There're better Motorcycles from Royal Enfield and I feel they ought to concentrate on those.

The only advantage of jawa is looks, but once you look at the details, like he mentioned, the engine fins, welding, etc, you will start having doubts. Jawa is also really small (almost every model, from 42 to perak and bobber). It honestly feels like a cheap toy. Add to that, low ground clearance, clunky gearbox and limited showrooms, you would rather choose bajaj or re (classic /dominar) for touring. The rest of the space is eaten up by the CB350.
I have bullet standard, classic, Perak and 42 bobber........ toh most amazing bike is perak.....standar and classic have comfortable sitting posture.....but the power the power the torque perak and 42 bobber have.....RE dont have that power........price ki baaat kre Jawa is price main bahut kuch de rahi.....magar bullet ka price agar dekha jaaye features ke according toh woh bahut zada hai.......mere hisaab se standard ka price 1.60 lac ex show room hona chaahiye aur classic 2.30 se zada ni hona chaahiye .....kyunki engine ki power bahut kam hai jawa se

Paid RE review, I own 42 bobber there is no vibration at all, where as classic shakes all your 206 bones to 412

Scram provides reliability and off-road capability
42 bobber provides Power and Would turn more heads

The Classic doesn't get the turn by turn navigation any more. You can't buy it with the bike nor as an accessory. RE dealers confirmed this.
