From 4:09 onwards for some reason is edited out of the netflix version... i have noticed so many little edits on episodes on netflix and it really bugs me that they have done it for seemingly no reason whatsoever. So many episodes i remember from my childhood word for word only for them to be missing... like when roger tells Tamera in episode 1, “i wish i had more to say but that took me all afternoon” or when Lisa is acting out a scenario in her shop with a gingerbread man pretending its Ray and bites his head off.
Realistically though, it wouldn’t make sense for them to drive their car into Lake Erie specifically. They live in Metro Detroit so they would have to drive pretty downriver almost near Ohio to get to Lake Erie. Most of Detroit is mainly on the Detroit River.
@@qwertasdcfghjklmo24z I know but there is no way back to Michigan in Canada from Lake Erie, they would have to take the Ambassador Bridge on the Detroit River which I’m pretty sure they already crossed since they thought they were near the mall.

at 2:40 you can see they're carrying stacks of canned food in paper bags. i thought our bags were terrible in europe but it's because the bags they use on film sets are made from a special material that doesn't make noise (youtube algorithm linked me to a video). it's to stop the camera audio getting distorted. pretty funny now to look at it
Nokwazi Chester the entire episode can be found on dailymotion. Essentially Tia and Tamera convince their parents to buy them their first car and on the first night of having the car, they decide to take a random trip up to Canada and end up accidentally driving the car into Lake Erie. Then they try to cover it up with a bunch of things that are clearly lies and at the end of the episode, the dad rescues the car and as punishment gives it for Lisa to use instead of the girls.
They did date each other in this season but broke things off by the next season sadly. Would've made a nice arc to see Ray and Lisa get together and eventually marry.
