Dennis Glover has a PhD in History from King’s College Cambridge and works as a professional speechwriter and author. He has written policy and speeches for many of Australia's most influential left-wing politicians including Julia Gillard and Kim Beazley.
He's the author of The Art of Great Speeches, Orwell’s Australia, An Economy is Not a Society, and The Last Man in Europe, a novel about George Orwell.
His new book is "Repeat: A Warning from History".

Good effort at pushing back Josh, I didn't feel this guest really had any of his own analysis, just regurgitating the online left discourse.
It always amazes me that people like this guy think they know better, when its pretty obvious he has no idea.
You've got to admire this guys persistence in equating everyone he doesn't like with Hitler.

I can describe a left-wing government that is true & good & fit for purpose. One that although I disagree with their methods that I think has value and is operating in the interest of the people. I wonder if he can make the same description for the right. I doubt it. And that's the difference between the sides.
I’m rather conservative as well, but there are plenty of right wingers who consider anything left as full blown communism. Our side isn’t innocent either. But I like your point.
