I dunno who is an idiot, the one who compares actors ?? Or the one who take actors to be something else, beyond anyone else. End of the day these are just artists, artist like a Magician, a Dancer, a Musician, a theater actor etc etc. Yes comparison is idiocy but so is idolizing something just coz you repeatedly watch it over and over again. Psychologists say that repetition breeds affection. Familiar fare requires less mental energy to process, and when something is easy to think about, we tend to consider it good. You keep watching something over and over, you tend to like it - its this foolishness of mind that marketing people use to pump adds.

There is a temple for his highness Rajnikant and Amitabh Bachchan. One of the most prominent yesteryear actors of Karnataka state was once kidnapped by a local sandalwood smuggler and bandit, and we the people stopped the whole city, literally covid type people called curfew two decades ago, I walked 20kms that day since everything just stopped, streets had riot kinda look with tyred burning and blockages all around. Later he was released, and then after few years died a natural death. May God bless him, that time too the city came to a stand still. Now last year, his younger son expired a natured heart related death, look at the craze........ I find this weird, and I find it especially weird when most educated, citizens of India's silicon Valley do such things. It's scary when fanism become fanaticism.
