  • In this pyrography wood burning tutorial episode, I will share with you tips for burning on leather, how I prepare leather for burning, transferring patterns onto leather, cleaning the pen tips, and so much more.
I do have a second video that covers some questions and provides more tips for leather. Here's a link to that video: • Wood Burning - Viewer ...
I do want to state that this is not a leather working video. I will not cover weights of leather, tooling leather, leather working tools, etc.
My knowledge of such things is very limited, so I'll leave that information to the experts.
One such expert that I recommend for leather working is CZcams channel @WeaverLeatherSupply
They have a lot of tutorials including things that a beginner like me can do. Plus, there are links to their website that contains patterns, supplies, etc.

Burner = Colwood Super Pro II

Please be aware that I am not affiliated with Colwood. I just happen to use their brand of burner. Since I get numerous questions about where to buy one, I've included a link to their website.
