A friend of mine, set up a similar cinema room in his basement in the house he owned in New York state. He passed away a few years ago, leaving his DVD collection of 1700+ DVDs to a retirement home, along with his DVD carousel players. His cinema room was wood paneled with a gas fireplace ... were he still with us, I'd have shared this video, as I think the matte black would have improved the viewing on the big screen. He being a tee-total-er didn't have a bar, but he had a mini fridge between the sectional sofa with soda and water. I'd do something similar, but no basements in Arizona .... and my garage is kept for my classic cars, and man cave.

I love this! The seating/ bar area is cozy for having a cocktail with friends or bring in kids and friends for movies. It’s that wonderful surprise when you descend stairs and it’s not just storage…it’s a whole other floor of usable living space to enjoy. Great job 👍
You have done quite well here. Love the overall look and that it is not overdone. Movies and games with those seats and that screen (and sound) would be top notch. Congrats!

Sick room, it could really do with some acoustic panels in the bar area to help reduce the echo back there
Put a strip light shining on the bottles. It looks so neat and shiny like a real bar!
...but it takes up the entire basement.

Gorgeous conversion. Been binge watching Man cave/ Game Room/ Home Cinema stuff for a few weeks; usually guys over in the US, turning their basements into these amazing looking in-home entertainment areas. Nice to see one over this side of the pond as well.

OMG, this is the Theater Room I dream of!! Although, mine has a popcorn machine ;) You could put a wall fireplace where the sofa is, and turn the sofa around to face the screen and fireplace? Love your vids!

Your side speakers are too low, and why are your rel subs towed in so bad? Rels need to at least aim at the opposing corners. Whoever set your system up, did a piss poor job. It could've sounded better!
