  • First of many episodes of the teardown and eventual rebuild of one of my two 1990 CBR250RRs after it was reversed into and now doesnt run!
These bikes are highly strung screamers released by Honda in the 1990s and are an absolute BLAST to ride and I hope you guys enjoy the process from here to the first ride of 2020!

I've got the very same bike, 1990 with those fairings :)
Currently rebuilding a set of carbs as spares. They get dirty really easy. Seal the tank from rust with something like KBS as well.
Look forward to seeing more, all the best with the bike mate.

I've been a little slack on the rebuild, I'll be honest but I'll do my best to pump some more videos out so you've got some material to work with 💕

I currently own 2 of these 1 since I was 18 I'm now 36 it still runs as strong as the day I bought it in 03, I love that your rebuilding it but wouldn't it have made more since to get it running again before the tear down, you said it was running before it got backed over. I had 1 that was run over and it was the stand sensor that was stopping it from kicking over as it was slightly bent and was creating an earth and not allowing it to fire, would love to see some more videos of this and see you get the old girl running

Unfortunately life got in the way since this video with some huge changes, but I'm planning on doing some more work on it hopefully soon!

Have you scored yourself a workshop manual? They're honestly the most helpful thing in the world when working on these things, do yourself a favour and grab one of you can!
