Unfortunately our dream for flying cars won't manifest as reality due to this type of drone technology. It would work for inner city flying cars if it wasn't for two things: 1. The sheer amount/volume and velocity of air generated. Re: The windstorm created. 2. The noise level from the propellers. If you could solve these two issues we might "build up" for transportation. Otherwise we'll build down, hence Elon Musk's "The Boring Company". At best we might see these types of aircraft as emergency vehicles or specialty commercial vehicles, and of course smaller ones for delivery or other tasks.

Well because multi-rotors, even ones humans ride on, are mostly flown by software...Yes you can steer it around, if you want, but you're not really piloting it. Like hers an example: let's say you have a big multi-rotor, you're standing on the ground using your controller to fly it around, sending it to waypoints, using the auto land, altitude hold, etc...You call it a drone. Now everything the same except this time you get on or in it...you'd still call it a drone!
Can you just create an amusement park named Neistat so we can live like little Casey's for a day? Candy and opening packages would be essential of course.

As a licensed pilot who’s seen just about every type of ultra lite and “kind of plane” type of aircraft before, I guarantee you will have an easier time flying a real plane like a Cessna 172 or Piper Aero than you ever will anything called a “Flying Car” in the next 20 years. And there is actually a real “Flying Car” brand Flying Car, it won’t be any easier to fly than a regular small aircraft. Not to mention... what is the glide slope on these things? If your engine goes out in this oversized drone, you’re dead. If it goes out in a regular small aircraft, you descend so slow and steadily you don’t notice any difference between that and a regular landing (except you’ll only get one shot to land when your engines are out)
I think the key to all this will be completely autonomous flight. Type in your destination and IT flies according to the rules and laws. drones already manage to fly them selves fine. Humans will "travel" ;not pilot it. Airliners fly (mostly) on auto pilot as it is. Pilots are (mostly) there for takeoffs& landings and emergencies today.

Also you need certification in ultra light aircraft. So you need at the very minimum to go to some type of flight school. Also can’t operate ultra light in class A B C and D airspace’s. So basically this thing is useless since the only place you can fly is class E airspace. You will never see one in a city or town.
So let me get this straight, they got the worst drone flyer, the dude who is notorious for crashing drones, to come fly this really expensive drone. Sounds like a great plan, nothing will go wrong
