Wow this is how it feels like when girls go to a SPA therapy but for guys. Thorough treatment. Complete deep cleansing of the body, inside and out on the spa towel. Spreading the lubricant evenly over all the smoothed surfaces. The spinning sound of properly shimmed gear. All the fatigue lifted. So calming, relaxing and mentally reset afterward. I can imaging now a silent warehouse dedicated for guys hiding away from their significant others. No word no chatter no gossips just quietly methodically working away on their baby. We need more of this.
This was my exact first airsoft replica- ICS CXP Peleador gen 1. I sold it a while ago since I've moved on to exclusively playing with GBBRs, but this brought back memories. Low-key missing my ICS.
@@4UADSmartAirsoft I've been thinking about getting an LCT AK74U and a Daytona kit. Nobody seems to be coming out with a good 74U gbbr any time soon. GHK isn't worth the gamble

When I got the gun, I immediately plopped in a steel feed ramp and trigger parts, then spent about 15min tightening up tolerances with tin foil and plumbers tape. Run like an absolute dream now! No GBB is perfect from the factory, but if you don't mind a little tinkering, the GHK 74U is 100% worth it, IMO
Love the video and learning how to tech my own airsoft guns. I see online that shimming pion gear to bevel is recommended or does not apply to split gearboxes. You make shimming so flawless. once again, keep up the good work.
Will do buddy, and yah when it comes to shimming, I think the best way to do it is to make sure there is minimal wobble and it needs to be smooth when spinning. once you achieve both, it shouldn't go wrong that bad. Takes a few tries~ best of luck!

Lovely made aeg and it looks like your semi is over spinning as some shots were full auto but that's just done to the shimming being too perfect and other stuff as I have the same problem but that can be solved.
Hi great work on that ics. What is that liquid you store your bearings in? Which brand of shims do you use for the gears? You noticed the front sight is backwards on there?
I know ics is great just something inside me doesnt love the base gun, probably the clam shell upper tbh, I would have preferred a one piece but if im not mistaken I’ve updated to that. But how do you like that mosfet and motor? And that company that makes them? Im a little married to peruns and warheads so I love that new things are coming out.
Hahah stick with it, i haven’t tried the warhead and the ETU, but I do like the basic board from ATV, it’s got the basic function I need, motor wise I think it does the job ok, but I really think I should try an warhead next time

Y si estás shimeando un MP5 o un G36 y no puedes desmontar el pistolete???? Que haces??? No shimeas la réplica por que no puedes alinear el motor usando el pistolete¿¿? Aunque no consigas que el piñon del motor y el engranaje tengan una superficie de contacto del 100%, siempre será una superficie mayor que la de cualquier otro punto de contacto entre los demás engranajes, siempre, así que estará bien, simplemente deja espacio suficiente para que el piñon del motor pueda entrar hasta el fondo y listo. Yo por ejemplo empiezo siempre shimeando el spur gear, luego el sector y por último el bewel y mis engranajes no rompen, y las réplicas suenan bien una vez encuentro la altura correcta del motor.

ahhh I would say aisa is the cheaper place for airsoft guns... (this is an expensive hobby) and the price also depends on the retailer strategy. I would say redwolf is great :D
how do you know with your way of shimming that you have a good pinion to bevel connection if you never in the process slid in the motor plus grip to see how they align ?
@@4UADSmartAirsoft I used to do Spur gear shimming first as well in my testing I found out that the power transmission efficiency is better when doing bavel to pinion first since every motor usually sits differently in the grip adjusting the height of the navel gear to the pinion gear so the teeth grip in perfectly. I’ve seen up to 5-8% longer battery time . While this is minor it will also reduce strain on the gear box. Maybe give it a shot and try out for your self in your time.
It’s the sensor inside, I didn’t adjust it to the proper position. Since it is mechanical, we can’t just adjust it through our phone, and so the only way is to adjust the reflector mechanically. It was hard to install.
Yo would it maybe be possible to do a review/testing of the arp556, Its basically a compact m4 AEG. I currently have one myself and it performs suprisingly well when paired with a 11.1v Even other players had comments on how nice it shoots and sounds (loud). But I think i'd be cool to get you guys to review it as you do the coolest tests etc. And i'd be curious to how it perfoms on paper.
Because its pointless and stupid, how do use the bevel to pinion method when shiming a MP5, a G36, a M14, P90, Famas??? what about if your grip doesnt line up perfectly with your body as it does with your gearbox? are you going to file your grip and create a gap as big as the great canyon as airsofttech does??? So, learn more ways to shim, find your own method. I always start with the spur, and my shimings are spot on. Most of the times a replica is properly shimed, but it doesnt sound perfect, thats caused by the gears, SHS gears are noisy, Krytac gears are noisy... G&G gears are quite, ZCI gears are even quiter.....
@@fubene5495 It’s not pointless or stupid. When you could you should it’s the best solution to preserve the pinion. I know that you can’t do it on all replicas but when you could do it. 😅

that was the good old WD 40 so the bearings don't rust and I burn it to burn off the dirty grease off the bearings so its extra smooth

I only adjust the motor height and for bevel gear I just push it towards to the pinion gear :D

I think he's using it to keep the handguard stable cus it's attached to the upper receiver
@Christopher Dolan that's what the sling mount was doing, he then put a unity tactical style riser on it, with the sling mount
