I’ve followed Fr John since 2017 and love his presentation of the Kerygma. We had a book read of Rescued June 2021 and then this past January ran the Rescue Project. They were powerful studies that helped us grow closer to Jesus. We hope to run the RP twice a year as part of a discipleship path. Great conversation.

It's so difficult to know exactly when to "choose" who to surround yourself with ("good people") when I also have to be careful not to "escape" from the environment God has placed me in. Also "putting your utmost confidence in Jesus" can sometimes seem so esoteric, because what if I put my trust in him and it turns out I should have planned better or used my "common sense" to choose to do something? Sorry, maybe I'm just not getting it right. Would appreciate prayers for clarity. What exactly is the balance between "total dependency" and doing the work?
Are John and this lady married? Is John going back to Our Lady of Good Counsel?

Wish our priests would wear their cassocks on such shows! It is such a powerful visual symbol of priesthood. Then young viewers won't mistake them for protestant pastors 😊
