Apparently losing a SB or winning an MVP is all a QB needs to do to get a pass in the media.

It's absolutely no surprise that TPS picked against the Ravens. They've been doing this all season. They had us losing each of the 4 games we had in December, plus the Detroit, and Seattle games as well as both meetings with Cincy. All I know is that Baltimore has played with a massive chip on their shoulder, and those guys aren't going to care about their postseasons of the past, or the narratives of the media. Plus if they get the Bills in the AFC Championship, oh I think it'll be a slaughter because Josh Allen will play right into the Ravens' hands all evening long!

I totally agree. We've only lost one playoff game when lamar played the entire game. TPS always picks against the ravens and says its because we're not consistent. When playing lamar this season, we've only lost 3 games this season, and all of those games have been decided by a score or less. Everyone always looks in the past for the ravens, but not for any other teams. No one's talking about how buffalo can make it to the super bowl after 4 playoff apperances, and how miami plays like shit at the end of the season/playoffs and gets first rounded(if they make it). I think the ravens have a wayy better team than the bills(have an amazing team) TPS isnt the only one. Most media roots against the ravens in general for some reason. TPS is also one of those haters. Ravens WILL make the super bowl and win.

Not enough upsets here. I always get worried when predicts have 1 vs 2 in champ, and similar in the superbowl. Steelers are hot after goin to rudolph, and could see them upsetting buffalo. Buffs rush defense giving up 4.4 yds per carry, and the way Najee and Warren been running lately, i bet they licking their lips right now as they bout to feast. Sure missing Watt hurts, but Herbig has played nicely in his rookie campaign, pretty sure he has a strip sack, and golden is a solid olb pr. if rudolph doesnt turn the ball over, and the steeler capitalize on Allen's tendency to throw ints (pitt has created a lot of these this year, well turnovers), pitt could walk away with a win.

I agree, I think Bills also just have more high end talent than the Steelers. But honestly, I wouldn't put my money on the Bills, they just have a tendency to choke important games or play close to worse competition. Whereas this Steelers team has a tendency to play close to stronger teams than them. It will be close and ugly, whoever wins.

When I think about the playoffs I more so think of the teams I don’t think will go all the way and those I think can, mainly because individual games can lead to any number of surprises. Immediately the Eagles, Buccaneers, Packers, and Steelers come to mind as very unlikely to go far. I currently have no faith in Miami or Kansas City given there situations and how they’ve played. For the NFC I see the Rams, Lions, and Cowboys are teams I think could go all the way with the 49ers being the front runners mainly because of how they’ve played against fellow NFC contenders. For the AFC Texans, Browns, and Bills could go all the way with the Ravens being frontrunners for obvious reasons.
If I had to choose winners I’d take Browns over Texans, Bills over Steelers, Chiefs over Miami, Buccaneers over Eagles, Cowboys over Packers, and Lions over Rams.

We’ve all seen CJ get significantly better throughout the season and he definitely has what it takes to beat the Browns. Hell, his backups just put up 211 combined yards 2 TDs 2 picks against the Browns and without Tank. I’m sure he will perform much better than that.

My hot take is that I feel like the Bills are being heavily overrated right now. Could they make the Super Bowl? Absolutely. Will they? I don’t think so.
Their hotness, momentum, whatever you want to call it is less impressive when you watch and see that they struggled against the Chargers, almost let the Patriots back into the game, turned the ball over 3 times in the red zone against Miami, and nearly choked a 14-point lead to the Chiefs(would have if Kadarius Toney lined up properly). The Cowboys win was very impressive so I’ll give them that.
But in that time Baltimore blew out the Niners, Jaguars, and Dolphins, and won a shootout against a hot Rams team.
I feel like Buffalo will blow out Pittsburgh 27-13, look ahead to the AFC Championship against the Ravens, overlooking KC, and lose to the Chiefs 20-27 in the Divisional Round.
As a Bills fan, I can’t disagree with you here for the most part. Although I I really want to believe we can get that Super Bowl this year, it’s definitely a stretch. But I think we have a good shot at making the AFC Championship and finally beating Mahomes in the Divisional Round this year. Whether they have a shot against the Ravens I feel like is entirely up to them. It depends on how they play. Inconsistency makes me think we’ll lose in the Wild Card Round sometimes, but I sure hope not🫣

Facts but I think in Buffalo, they arent losing to KC especially if Josh Allen has a good game. They definitely can and I think will beat the Ravens in the AFC chip and I think could beat the niners in the Super Bowl, Lamar cant throw the ball, all he can do is run and with his receivers, i dont think he will be able to throw the ball against Sean McDermotts dbs. To me the AFC is a wide open race. The Dolphins won’t be an easy out. Pittsburg have a slim chance to beat Buffalo but they have to ugly that game up old school ground and pound. Josh Allen turns over the ball a lot. To me that matchup comes down to the defensive scheme of the Steelers. Going to be a very interesting weekend.

Everything you just said could also be said about the Texans - and more so.
They weren't even supposed to be competitive this year - it's a rebuilding year. As the announcer said, we almost won more games this year than _the previous three years combined_
The player everyone expected to be the best on the Texans that wasn't an unknown rookie was Robert Woods - who hasn't had a thousand yard season in decades or Dameon Pierce who isn't even the lead back right now.
The Browns have been competitive the past several years and have had an amazing defense for years.

I was responding to the "The browns have nothing to lose, wasn't supposed to get this far, they've overachieved" remarks of the OP.
The Texans haven't made the playoffs since 2019, and have been abysmal the past three years (11 wins, 38 losses, 1 tie) and are one season away from having the #2 overall pick.
Last year they tied for 2nd to last in points scored - and probably only didn't do worse because they played in a weak division, 2nd to last in points allowed.
And in one year, with a rookie HC and rookie QB - they turned it around to win the 4th seed, even after basically all the major offensive pieces being injured or missing games.
The Browns weren't great last year, but they more than doubled the record of wins of the Texans in a much harder division.
Look at all the preseason rankings - pretty much all of then had the Browns at least in the Top 20, where the highest I saw the Texans was 30th out of 32 with most ranking them last or second to last.
So who is really the "team that overachieved and no one thought they would get this far" here?
@@fenix6297 The Browns weren’t great last year bc they started a back up QB for 11 games and had Watson coming off a 2 year hiatus. The Browns if healthy were clear SB contenders this year. They are only “overachieving” bc they are overcoming the most injured plagued year we’ve seen since Baltimore a couple years ago. Stefanski had continually switched game plans and won games despite the odds.

Of the Texans Top 5 recievers - all of them missed at least 2 games. Our second best receiver only played in 11 games and is out for the year, 3rd best - only 10 games, etc etc etc.
Comparatively - the Top 4 Brown receivers - two didn't miss any, Cooper has missed one game - and both him and Njoku sat out the last one.

You got every NFC wildcard game wrong.
Lots of predictions have the Texans as first round exits, but it’s possible they beat the Browns, and in doing so, have a good shot at the AFCCG, maybe even the SB. The great news is though, regardless of what happens, the Texans have hit their stride and there are zero negatives if they do happen to lose against Cleveland. Many fans (including myself) are already so proud of this Texans team under Stroud and Meco and we’re sure that we’ll be back in the postseason next year!
Stroud will have trouble with the best defense in the League, and Flacco has been balling. I can see the Texans getting torched.

Purdy has a great defense and a great offense. Lamar has had none of that until this year. Purdy is 0-1 against Lamar and neither of them have won a Super Bowl so what does it matter? I don't see anyone stopping the Ravens honestly. That defense is nasty (1st in PPG allowed, sacks, and takeaways), and their offense is loaded with Mark Andrews back. I don't know how you defend Lamar, Andews, Likely, Flowers, OBJ, and that backfield of Hill, Edwards, and now Dalvin Cook. Not to mention both Bateman and Agholor can ball. The only team that can beat Baltimore is Baltimore.
