I was beging to get irritated with the fact that no one seemed to offer, just basic delivery I do as well, anything beyond I'll ask first and allow advance view without offering additional gratuity, one complete then pay decently. Never any hidden agenda always upfront Incase their not comfortable they can refuse in advance, folks are so cheap wanting something for nothing then to brag that I paid bla bla to self pride.
it should not matter the circumstance, always record anything you do no matter what. otherwise, it is your word against theirs and there will always be someone lying about the situation. video does not lie.
Had a curbside delivery of a couple of pallets of flagstone. When I came out to tip the driver he saw my chair and no matter how many times that I protested that I had a couple of people who could help me move it, he wouldn’t leave til the stone was safely at the top of my driveway. Above and beyond, most of these guys. Edit: Really wish I’d had more than 10 bucks for a tip though…
Amazon could learn a thing or two about delivery from you! 👍 I'm lucky if my items aren't damaged, broken or even sent to a totally different state! They just toss from the road & hope it lands on the porch.

You should be in training department for Home Depot delivery. 99%of people are great to work with on your delivery. Pleasant and kind. 1% of people. Ignorant, confrontational and insane. The one crazy person in every neighborhood, that no one goes near their property. We must deal with from time to time. The camera is your only defense against the 1%.
You need tell home depot to get you the extra reach forks.And put an Allen wrench on a drill and set it on low and you won't have to be hand winfing them straps no more.

Problem like this be lot turn over higher costs it what is gets worse every day seems tolerance vs education vs no care opinions very every day public relations etc etc so on but like old days less people less down time seems lots ways dealing with average public relations

I always tip the delivery guys. It's a hard job sometimes, plus they put stuff where I want it.
Same. On hot days I offer water or popsicles. Etc. what ever I have handy to make their day a little easier
