Teallen96 Yea I played yesterday with my friends and then I got the kill and we placed 4th (you have to get 2nd place in squads) . This challenge requires a lot of luck tbh with the combination of finding a gun that can get long shots, making sure the hat is there, getting enough range to kill someone and getting top (whatever mode your playing) it’s really annoying
Exactly what happened to one of my friends lmao. Btw any gun you can shoot a 200m shot with will work. The 2 times my friend shot a rocket launcher at someone and used the rampart from a distance. The rocket was pretty lucky and impressive
I won but didnt get a long kill I had 7 kills and my furthest kill was 175m

Tip: Grab the Ushanka and run away from the location if anyone else has landed there (to avoid risks). Find a gun such as a rifle or sniper, does not matter which as long it has medium to long range. And then find a camping spot within the circle:
-The edge of the map at the north side. High ground is your best vantage point
-In the ocean at the west side. Most people never look at the water and the beach is a flat surface so targets are easier to hit
-Top of a wind turbine at the south side. Find a chopper. There is a location at near the fountains at states if you found the hat there or head south to Turbine if you found the hat at Asylum because there are two locations there aswell. If not go to Factory. Once you get to the top of a Wind Turbine, destroy your chopper so no one knows you are up there or to get someones attention and find a target a lot easier.

Thought this was going to be hard going into it, but if you keep landing estates every game until you get it, it is honestly pretty easy to find a 200m kill, just spend all game looting and looking for a sniper. You guys got this.
You have to admit, it’s pretty lucky you found a sniper right away. Some games I never see one. But do you think there could be an increased spawn rate of snipers around the hat areas?
It would be nice if they would do that but I doubt it lmfao.
Make sure you check all stash locations in Raid and Stronghold. Stronghold has a location on the very top roof of the building.
U can use a helion salvo on a vehicule, it also counts
I've tried with the Helion, but they get notified when a missile is locked on and bail

At asylum, I had it spawn in the fountain outside . If you are at the front door facing out, it’s the fountain in the left of the courtyard. Great video, gonna work on unlocking him next !

This is the hardest challenge for me, I’ve been working on this for months and of course, I thought I picked up the hat but I didn’t and finished all of the requirements without it 😢

Treyarch for real these challenges are so unreasonable. I understand the extreme range part of this challenge as that's a reference to the Vendetta mission in WAW, but the finish in the top 5 part makes absolutely no sense, and it's gonna frustrate so many people. Couple that with relying on RNG to find the hat in the first place makes the challenge rage inducing instead of fun.

I got reznov by putting down meshmines in construction site on the helicopter pad with a helicopter on it and when I was in array I got a kill from the mines

Riley Racine would make sense I heard you can use a rocket as soon as it’s on the way to the heli just run the opposite direction to put more meters in between you and the heli

@Riley Racine no they do not. The explosion is what kills them. so it is the distance from that explosion. same as rockets. or grenades. Reznov is one of the easiest characters. Just people make it hard with their BS. The hat is one of the easiest character items to find. And when you do you will surely find a sniper rifle. Head to the hills and snipe them. this is easiest on solo due to the fact they die rather than go down on duos and quads leaving you to finish them as well. Tomahawks give distance kill as well as regular rifles. But sniper is just the easiest. Best of luck

The problem is the Body Armour with Snipers.
Unless you get a perfect head-shot, and based on how much the players move around, and the terrain constantly changes, that's impossible.
And the players usually move towards you when you end up shooting them, so the range is constantly shortening.

A tip for Reznov is to pick up a rocket launcher, if you find a car or helicopter lock on to them and hope they don’t jump out

I used to watch this and try to do it correctly so long ago. Today after redownloading the game in months, I started up my first match and unlocked him without even seeking it out. The second guy I killed had the hat and I had a sniper and a bowie knife. I'm so hapoy to have finally unlocked it.

Bigotry! My friend and I have been grinding for an accumulated 28 hours over this Thanksgiving Break, and we have been super close, but nothing works in our favour. Have you noticed that Prestige is rather lucky? The hat spawn, the convenient isolation of Estates, the amazingly coincidental placement of the Koshka, and of course the one idle player in the middle of a secluded dirt road???

In the asylum there is another fountain where Ushanka can appear. The fountain is located to the right of the entrance to the territory of the asylum (in the opposite corner of a 2-storey building near the maze).

None actually. No bullshit I got him on my first attempt after I grabbed his bandanna, and beat my kills in one game record in doing so. It's honestly a miracle.
I got it first attempt too. It's not so difficult once you have the bandana, just camp until top 5 and then slay them all
I got him the first time I got the bandana, but it took 5 games for it to spawn. Finished with 8 kills. Don’t be afraid to be aggressive as being passive can get you killed
SuperSonic14 got 14 kills one game with his bandana then got clapped at 2nd, got him later that night tho (aka yesterday) 😭

Sam When the game ends and it tells you all the xp you got and the number of kills, it tells you the longest kill you got. I don’t know why I would lie about that lmao. If I were to lie I would say I got the character.
I have Mason, Woods and Menendez but can’t get Reznov he’s actually impossible.
You can not get Mason without playing as Reznov. So it will make you only have Woods and Menendez

Just get into the solo match with a friend by deploying at the same time and get the hat, have him go 200 meters away and kill him. Then you just have to get top 5. That's what I did.

That iron sight snipe reminds me of the time I no scoped somebody off the top of the crane at construction. Took about 3 secs to hit but then my brain took an extra 5 to realize... I JUST NO SCOPED SOMEBODY AT 199m (During Beta as Reznov too)
It’s not at the bloody fountain at Asylum, it’s at the waterless fountain outside to the right (if you’re outside looking at the entrance to the main building)

I have also picked up the hat from the dry fountain just inside the outer wall of Asylum. Other side of the main building from maze.

I've only found it in the south-east corner fountain of asylum and never the bloody fountain located in the middle so I'd like to know aswell, it would be nice if they both had 2 spawns.

The red fountain at raid (estates) the middle fountain (estates) and the southeast non-bloody fountain (asylum)
If you havent found it in the bloody fountain at all it should be in the fountain right of the entrance to asylum. You go straight right and there should be a empty fountain it spawns in..
This has to be the hardest one literally played so many games and every time I have a sniper and everything I need never find someone that far away and if I did they would eat my shot and have cover
I tried getting Reznov all of last night to no prevail!
I've spent 3 days trying to get rez, but literally doing nothing but merking my stats trying to get a sniper or tact. rifle
So many hit markers from those long shots that I do land, which are extremely hard to hit just because of bullet sway and shit and then they always have armor and all that makes it even better.

Hey prestige, the hat in the blood fountain was not in their, idk if it was a gitch or a patch idk but it was is the fountain in front of the asylum to the left where it was a small litte area with a fountain siting on the side of it, thats where i found it, the two estates locations are right but the blood fountain was not right, i just wanted to let u know, by the way, love the vids bro, keep up the good work 👍
