While there are some songs that are exceptions (I kind of like New Jeans songs, although it's their mvs that really seal it) but even with groups like Aespa and IVE I'm not usually a fan of the style. Sometimes it seems like they are trying to be Blackpink 2.0 or the NCT127 stuff I'm not a huge fan of (the Firetruck sound)

As someone who wasn't even born when these legends debuted I can't express my happiness when I see these kind of notifications at the start of the day. I'm really greatful to SM. Please continue this for many generations so that our kids one day can enjoy the groups which we are in love with now.

All the generation are great and really talented but First and second generation of kpop was something different , something that wasn't all about views and streaming but every single bit of the music was enjoyed.
H.O.T & EXO are the 2 groups that got me into K-pop I discovered both groups in 2013 that's why they are my ultimate two groups of all time in K-pop history and SM Entertainment. SM thank you for creating the greatest groups and solo artists in K-pop history you are the blueprint of K-pop always and forever

I've listened to Super Junior's and Seventeen's cover of this song, and although their versions are "polished" and less chaotic, and probably to many people better, they still can't beat the original. In my opinion, this song isn't supposed to be "polished", it's supposed to be chaotic. The happiness these guys show while singing this song is exactly how this song should be sung. I loved it first time I heard it from an old CD back in 2007/2008, and I love it now too.
Exactly, i always hate how Happiness is turned into a sad and safe ballad while it should be chaotic and fun. No one can beat Woohyuk, Tony, Jaewon's weird but energetic rap at the beginning of the song

in the past it just older people who know first gen, but i think they get more respect nowadays, 2nd generation group who have disbanded even just need to wait for couple of years for reunion, H.O.T and Sechskies need more than 15 years for reunion because the industry nowadays paying tribute for them (internationally too)
